Is this all there is to Chaos?

To be just a copy of LSMs with minor differences? Anyone new to Warhammer 40k would think: "What's the big deal?". Where's all the "bling", the spikes and skulls, the mutations and daemons? The Ruinous Powers reduced to some weak marks you strap on your armor. And some people say we are the most "complete" faction. Say it ain't so!

Universal Chaos in 40k has always been more or less "SM with spikes, daddy issues and an abysmal understanding of nihilism".

Chaos is more interesting if you take a look at individual factions and characters, especially when they fight amongst eachother, Magnus/Mortarion hatred of their own patron deity and self-loathing, the Alpha legion/Cabal gambit, Perturabo's pragmatism and refusal to "hate" the Imperials because he sees both sides exploiting marines as pawns for their own grand designs. There is a lot more to Chaos than that, but one has to dig for Black Library books and beyond the "surface" to enjoy it.

Hurdur Failbaddon going on yet another failcrusade is basically the lamest kind of chaos.

Ingame, deeper customization will hopefully be introduced as the game evolves.

They already have quite a bit of differences straight out of TT.

The Marks aren't really "minor" changes either. Functionally they set them apart from the SMs almost immediately. The MoK in melee got me 29 kills and 19 executions the first game I played with it. Against multiple enemies in Melee I was virtually unstoppable. MoS makes the marine move as fast as an Eldar (and look at how much salt they've caused) the MoT makes the CSM as tough as an Ork.

Then there's the Sorceror who most Apothecaries drool in envy over.

Then there's the Autocannon, and Chain Axes.

AND THEN then there's reskinned and revfxed of the LSMs into CSMs, including thusfar one of the most complete pages in the store for visual customization.

So yeah. The CSMs are the most complete faction. The problem is that the game isn't near complete.

Basic MoK the life gain is very tiny... but with a lifesteal mod for weapon MoK feels right.

    Sure it does...

Plus you can get the Sigil. It's why the MoK is "weak". It's the foundation to be able to add 2 additional lifesteal mods to it - which is insane.

Doesn't it? What are the numbers? The Orks have more HP and a DMG resistance mod, but in terms of straight T the MoN ... Oh..

Shit sry, mispoke, I meant the MoN.

Yeah MoT is... Not the same lol.

    Just as planned.

The Sigil of Khorne - lvl 5 Advancement Unlock.

    So:

    MoK
    Weapon Lifesteal Mods
    SoK

3 Lifesteal Items/Options... It is a fuckton of lifesteal.

Nope, MoT makes you as durable as any Ork, you just have to play like a Tzeentchi.

Duck behind cover continuously and leverage that 3/2s armor regen and you'll quickly find you'll have more staying then a Nurgle tac, it's main drawbacks coming into play when outflanked. Nurgles more for the already toughness heavy havocs who have to keep their head out and sustain fire.

...Or if you have a plague knife, and want to get some revenge on apothecaries and striking scorpians.
