I think there was something about how if Chaos prevails and destroy the imperium, then the source of their power will be gone and they will cease to exist. Kind of like a Yin and Yang, neither can exist without the other.
They've gotten a major boost from their new codices and IA work. Plus I think IA fixed their ships not being covered at all by the 5/6th ed Codex. That's from the Cabal. I'd trust their word less then that of the Inquisition, Alpha Legion, or even Tzeentch.
Imperial Armor books. They're expensive and they vary between being utter crap and somewhat good. I wouldn't recommend buying them. Sucker a friend into it instead.
The emperor himself disliked the fact that humanity called him a god he's a powerfull guardian of mankind, all other gods in 40k are manifestations of emotions the emperor is more than that.
I liked the emperor's vision of humanity. So many thing in 40K goes directly against his verdicts, it is deeply troubling indeed.
He's been made a God by all the worship of him (thanks Lorgar you failure of a son) but still hates it. Basically an anti-thiest deity.
