I honestly think we should make the ranged dbash the same as melees', right now you cant even roll away before the stun ends and that assault is on your ass again.

People who found it as a problem have already left the game

I'm curious as to every SM/CSM saying they outgun DA:

What toughness gear are you wearing?

I win occasionally against a DA(in their prime range) with Bolter but I wasn't running much toughness. I think I got around to unlocking MoN last night and made my Tactical a Nurgle boy, toughness is much higher now but I haven't played with him yet.

My sorc though...my poor poor sorc. Molested by DA's all night haha. Tzeentch does not like you being in small rooms.

MoN with red armor should be enough really.
