That's sort of true, on its face. I mean, obviously the percentage of the people who are still playing the game who visit the forums is small, and the percentage that actually post is even smaller. That's true of all games. The important part, though, is the 'people who are still playing the game' part. The number of concurrent players is tracked by Steam, and it's been discussed here on the forums many times. It's not a lot of people. It's not even a lot of people when compared to the number who bought the game. So it's a misleading truth that '80% of the player base is happily playing and enjoying the game'. The player base is itself a small percentage of the paying customers.
For as many shortcomings this game has, ive already played it more than any other steam title I own. The only game ive probably played more than this one is League of Legends, and one day that record will be beaten by Eternal Crusade.

I started a match by jumping into a 10 person rhino and the driver promptly killed 9 of us by driving off the map into a killzone. I'm having fun.
1.) To the OP, no, you should never feel bad for enjoying a game. That's what games are for. I mean sure...if you're blatantly abusing something completely outlandishly broken and OP...maybe feel a little bit guilty. Other than that, enjoy the game. Enjoy the game YOU bought, in whatever way you want/can (without breaking the rules of course, no cheating ;D ) Everyone here, no matter what people think or say, no matter if we disagree with each other, no matter if we're mad at the devs or not....we all want this game to be something amazing. So go out there, and be amazed, and enjoy yourself. 2.) To the people who seem to be taking a cheap jab at the forumites. You guys need to stop. Yes, we nitpick, we complain, we don't recognize positive aspects enough, we argue for days over a tiny balance concern, we're critical over details, we'll do unnecessarily long math on tiny things, we'll theorize, criticize, vocalize, and marginalize. We get it, we know we look like high school kids arguing over who has the prettier dress and some are completely toxic (some more than others too). On the flip side, it needs to be understood that without these types of people, the game, and the community, would not be as full of content, of discussion, of ideas, and of passion. These forumites you are taking a jab at are the main individuals who help guide the flow of changes into a more balanced game. They are the ones who discuss the minor details that others would overlook, tiny things like small cosmetic conflicts, or quality of life improvements. They give quality feedback, even taking the time and effort, in a passion of the game we all play, to discern differences in math that could equate to a .002 difference. Simply said, they put in the work, so that others can have fun. They pay attention to the tiny details, no one else wants to or cares to. It's easy to tease them for being anal. On the other side, if they/we don't pay attention to the small details, then who will? It's all fun and games and back patting when the game is a fun experience, but how do you think it gets there? Go ahead and play the game, ignore the forums for the most part, ignore the small details and just enjoy the bigger picture and the game, no one will bust your balls over that. But then don't turn around and insult/take jabs at the players who are here debating/discussing/deciding things so that you can keep playing the game without worrying about if things will get fixed/balanced/implemented or not.
You're wrong. If people come to the forums to talk about how fun they think the game is they are labelled as white knights and automatically dismissed.
