It is like going to opera and hearing only trumpet. It can play really nice and you might enjoying it... But still where is damn rest of orchestra???
Is it fine to like the game? Yes! I admit I enjoy it at times, myself. What ISN'T fine is acting like there are no issues, and that anyone who brings up issues is a "hater".
Mmmm..to be fair we don't call you guys haters off the bat. We just remind you that making 800 threads about the same issue doesn't help anything. I assure you the Devs are not blind, deaf and dumb. They know what the game needs. They can only work so fast.
I realize that. I'm not saying everyone here instantly jumps on the "hater" train. But there are people who do.
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I keep coming back to slay some greenskins, stab some traitors or just kill some xeno over and over. I like this game! I really do... After getting over the initial FPS issues, now I just want more of it! I have, since Steam's official release, around 60 hours played.
There are some things about it that are enjoyable. Its just that its covered in so much shit, its hard to play for hours on end. I can only get a good 1 or 2 games in before I leave and do something else.
If you look closely you'll notice a lot of the same faces post on the forums for better or for worse. Meanwhile 80% of the player base is happily playing and enjoying the game to various degrees. The minority is always loudest in game communities.
I have over 200h played and I'v got well my money worth of fun, I got the game from steam early access same day it got on there. Game and it's bugs/"features" still frustrates me time to time to the point I actually yell at my monitor and so would love to throw my mouse to the wall... I like EC very much but it's still pains me to see all that wasted potential it has and I'm starting to get tired of waiting. I'll give it time to the first free expansion and see how it goes, I guess that's the turning point of this game anyways.
