Good Emperor man... no one here is asking to nerff hammer the Eldar, well, at least not me, all i want is the game to be balanced enough so that it's at least enjoyable to play the faction you like, the means to achieve it i let completely in the hands f the Devs, if they decide the wise course of action is to nerff the Eldar (and also CSM to a lesser extent) or buff LSM and Orks (which i think might be the better choice) i just don't care, as long as we're able to compete.
well making a thread that says "Is anything going to be done about the Eldar?" does kinda sound like asking for a nerf hammer, no? But yes I think no one is arguing that we want a balanced game. Nor is anyone arguing that at least LSM and Ork suck against Eldar atm. It's just getting old to hear "Eldar so OP pls nerf hard", when there is a big fat chaos elephant in the room (that has dominated said room for months now), so by just talking about one faction, that ignores that TSM still OP compared to the other two factions and that Orks are still fairly underpowered even compared to LSM.
Random thoughts after reading this whole thread in one sitting: - Direct Eldar nerf or not, balance needs to occur. It's not there right now. - With their speed, maneuverability, and survivability, Eldar can more or less choose their fights with very little repercussions. That's a problem. - I haven't had the 1-2 swing insta-deaths in months and it's been wonderful. It's happening again from Eldar melee, most of the time before I can turn around to confront it.
CSM is not the subject matter of the thread, if you feel like CSM is the problem in the game then go ahead and make a thread about it, addressing the other factions weaknesses is doing something about the Eldar, just not in a direct manner, it's not hard to understand, that's how balance works, how do you balance a balance? you make the weights equal on both sides, it can be achieved both by removing weight from the heavier side or adding to the lighter and as i said in the OP, this thread is not the place to discuss if Eldar are or not OP (unless you've got some measurable data that might change my mind instead of just your subjective opinions), here is the thread to know if, what and when is something going to be done about the extremely unbalanced state Eldar find themselves in right now, if you think Eldar are balanced and have no hard way to prove it, just ignore the existence of this thread.
I'm bored to say this again and again go up a melee apo. Put the adrenaline heal use it , go oneshot almost everybody that isn't build in full armor/hp. It's not and never was an Eldar thing alone there is various way to do it across the factions but people are too dumb to use it.
And what is your measurable data that Eldar are OP instead of your subjective opinion? As TSM player I dont find them OP, I win against them as much as I lose. And I win usually against Orks and LSM unless its a shit map and they are defending.
