Is a Slaanesh Traitor Marine for practical purposes a much better Dire Avenger?

Ditto for Eldar. The speed advantage is negligible. The hitbox advantage is negligible (and literally doesn't even exist in melee). An average EHP disparity of 50-70 is not negligible.

I think that was a typo. He meant 225 to 280. Though it's actually 285 for the Dark Reaper.

Edit: Not a typo, I missed the previous sarcastic posts leading up to that one.

The hitbox and speed advantages when coupled with lag can be very advantageous!
And hitboxes do count in melee (you should be shooting with your pistol not swinging your stick don't you know :p )

I am joking of course; except there is a nugget of truth in the first bit about lag.

However you can't balance a faction around lag but that's what we are doing - sometimes eldar can be hard to hit so let's reduce their durability by y instead of x.

That said everyone is squishy as fuck these days and we all die so quickly that the difference is a blink of the eye!

Servo vs Protect, 30% vs 30%
Surv. Vial vs Jinx, 30% vs 50%
    Enchance vs Bolter+EHP
    I miss something?
  4. There is a lot of factors, namely the amount of meters factor. Even in they have those buffs the still have less range, and by the time the go there the are already death by the bolter fire. Basically we have a clear disavantage here and it is the ranged battles, wich eldars does not excel at all.

So, meters... speed is negligible? =) Most of battles going close-to-mid range. Eldar good at this ranges.
    "Yeah, Reapers..."(c)
  6. Speed is really negligible tbh, it helps you to flank but in a direct attack with so little ehp will do nothing. And well, the map desing is really more for frontal attacks rather than flanking atm.

Exactly! LSM have only complained about their own stuff being too strong. Like that time I pushed to have JPA's and Powerfists nerfed!

    You're a genius Saffy!

You can't have Jinx, Protect and Enhance on a single Warlock and Dire Avenger btw and if a Warlock is using Jinx he's not doing anything else. Meanwhile the Apothecary brings a CQC Bolter to support the Tac.

Shhhhhhhhht don't tell him we can take all our spells in the same time, LSM would be jealous and ask for nerf./s

33% more speed... on jog speed :OrkMoon: Much OP.
The warlock/sorcerer must channel his spell to give the 30% buff or 50% malus at short range (and being in cover in the same time), meanwhile the Apoth throw a buff grenade or a skull, use his bolter, can put himself undercover since the buff/debuff don't need him to be here. And while the gunfight is happening, he can put a bit more genes into the ass of his fellows tacts to rez them after a 1sec cast, full life and with another armor buff, and go back where his people need him,... in the gunfight.

And close-mid range fight, where the Eldar are finally good (well more like close range), but where everyone is too if not better.

Apoth cannot equip the Skull of Power. It is only equippable by tacticals.
