Invunerable saves should have *some* unique machanics per race? (read thread)

I have stated the best way to limit people from taking items with no disadvantage is to limit it. Take artificer for more reduced dmg or iron halo for extra health / chance to not get insta killed or special ammunition to kill faster

    1.Again no solutions only critics.

    2. One achievement is win 3 campaigns or heavily participate in 5!

    3. Again no one mentioned P2W...dont make up things. What i meant is that by *one more* is that it is means you have cleared one requirement, that i posted in previous sentence.

    4. Nothing new here, and that is how it works for everyone, but best players should have their own personal versions that they could use when ever they wish.

    5. Kill/Death ratio could be reset whit each campaign thus you can focus one campaign on it and the other one you could die as many times you want... You can also put other stuff in there besides Kill/Death that could affect your top 100 list?

But then you are punishing best players for taking something they worked so hard to earn.

Yes some stuff should have drawbacks but not all of it, just class specialization and focused specs meant for dealing whit specific things. But not Artificers armor and Iron halo...

There is a solution, at the bottom. And yeah it works like that for everyone... that's not a bad thing. 'Best' is extremely subjective, as is obvious from your focus on K/D and mine - and others - dislike for it. Best shouldn't be able to use powerful gear like that whenever they want, it's a ridiculous and seemingly unnecessary advantage for a group of people you've already arbitrarily defined as the better than everyone else.

I said P2W as an example, I'm not making things up. It's clear I misunderstood what you meant by one more requirement.

You've still not clarified what you mean by 'win' and what is the definition of heavily participate?

K/D wouldn't matter if it resets every campaign, it's still a terrible mechanic that will heavily and negatively influence how players react in the game.

Best gear for best people, who ever it may be is very to my liking, and your is opposite but that is more personal opinion of how someone would be defined best. I am 100% that K/D over 1000 should have big part of it and you could implement other measurements that define best...(hits accuracy(head ,chest), DMG receive /dealt/ absorbed, ammo spent/ bullets hit success)

Misunderstanding, o well it can happen to all.

Win is victory over other factions by crushing them and conquering map and destroying their bases,

Heavily participation is not winning but completing number of PvP requirements, objectives, War Council given quest participation during campaign, being active player during the same and who knows what more it is just an example..

K/D OVER 1000 for k + d , so it is not just simple k/d. Also it can not be the only mechanic that define best as i have stated at the beginning of the reply.

If the best players are to be rewarded they should just be given special looking armor or trophies.

Gear like artificer armor and iron halos would be a number of items that only buff you. If you take these you are now more resistant to dmg but in another area you will be worse because you cannot take something for it. It is not taking your things away but making you choose which one do you want to bring out.

Again, your examples are all combat orientated, it ignores all the supporting roles and isn't a fair or even accurate way to define 'best'.

Then it's entirely plausible that one or more factions - by your definition - wouldn't be eligible for elite gear as they may not win at a campaign. Look at the Eldar, they appear to be the most under represented faction in the game, it's not a great leap to think that they won't win a Campaign.

The heavy participation I think may be the only thing we agree on, but again you want to apply it to the perma-unlock of features, whereas I see it used more for trophies, awards, titles and bonus to requisitition.

And then you have a bunch of people running around that move slow as shit, who's base you can capture easily and own in long range. There are pros AND cons
  9. Calbryn Fridders Cipher

Providing they're 'running around' and it's not just terminator armour being talked about.

It works with every class, not just terminators. They've all got pros and cons. In a game where you're stuck with your decisions for quite a bit in battle, it would teach people really quick if all of them decided to go one class because of the "cool" factor.
