"Where did you come from?" It repeated, having recorded the voice of the human and having it played back at him.
He stopped walking intrigued by it's actions. "Do you just mimic or can you understand as well?" Was it possible that it could understand and then cut records to respond?
"Do you just mimic or can you understand as well?" It did the same, but the voice was now modified, giving it's own touch to it. Perhaps it was learning the language?
"This is amazing, I am Troy." He said this as he pointed to himself. He then pointed to Enyo, "That is Enyo." Hopefully it would be able to follow them out and back to the ship. It would be incredibly interesting to study.
It looked where the finger pointed at and then scanned the man as well. "I... I am.... Thing." It said in it's own voice, having probably noticed to have been called earlier 'That Thing' by Troy.
"Well I think we need a better name for you. Can you move? We need to head out of here to continue exploring." He started heading out the way they came in. "Are you coming?"
The shaking begun once more upon the request and suddenly the asteroid accelerated quite extremely in one push, blue flames spitting out from one side, but then stopping rapidly again and the asteroid coming to an absolute halt. Interestingly enough, everyone on top of it did not feel the force of acceleration. "Move." It explained.
He was extremely surprised by the sudden movement. "Wow! That was amazing!" He was amazed that it could move the entire asteroid. "Are you trapped? Inside the asteroid?" He gestured to the rock around them.
"No, that is not amazing. We might just crash into the planet." Enyo said, clipping his harness back on the zip cable. He kept his rifle pointed at the floor now, but ready to fire it on this creature if need be.
Berthen hurried to the side of the humans. "We should leave, whatever made the asteroid accelerate, there was a huge energy spike coming from it's center!" The Pilot swung his arms wildly in the air, obviously scared.
