"Come on, come on!" The Gyzahn said excited to the followers behind him, walking up to a set table right in front of the wide observation window, grabbing a plate and self-serve him with an already prepared buffet. Taking some various meats, gravy, loaded mashed potato and other things, along with a bottle of water.
Troy was eager for the food, but upon entering the dining/observation deck he stopped dead in his tracks, blocking the door. How could ANYONE sit in this room without fearing the windows breaking and sucking them out into space. He quickly rushed to the table of food eyeing the glass for cracks or fractures the whole way. He grabbed some meat and potatoes with a bottle of water. With a shaky voice, "I'll just take mine to go." He quickly left the deck and found one of the emergency pods and sat down to eat his meal.
After checking out more of the ship, Enyo went towards the observation deck to grab some food. Passing by his fellow Terran he asked "Aye, where you goin'? You going to leave me alone with the fairy and bugs?". He honestly wouldn't mind being left alone, but he would rather get to know all the awaken a little better.
He looked up at Enyo, "Sorry I don't do well with space travel. That huge window just makes it worse. You're more than welcome to comeback out here though." He said this with a smile hoping that it wasn't too obvious about his level of fear.
"Nah, don't be scared of the windows. If it were to break the Hull Covers would close and seal the area. I think... Anyways, the view is great and I can only imagine what there is on the menu" Enyo began walking away from the man. "See you there!"
Troy grumble to himself, "How do YOU know it won't break." He got up and reluctantly followed the other Terran man back towards the observatory. His plate of food in one hand the water bottle in the other.
Enyo walked to the buffet table and began to grab various food items filling up several plates . He took a bottle of some kind of green liquid, its color attracted his eye so he thought "Why not?". He stumbled to a nearby sofa, carefully trying not to drop his dishes. The Sofa across from his had one of the Bugs with its feet up. He placed the plates on the center table, near the creatures feet. "So... Whats you name?"
Flittering through the observation room, Brand the Pyras looked with curiosity at all the aliens present. There were some of her kind, yes, and some of those pyrasoid creatures without wings and sometimes without mammaries (how... could they feed their newborn?) she'd seen before but never bothered to learn the name of their species; some of the True Xyr, a species she'd never had particular problems with but wasn't keen to start some, since, well, squish; and those black pyrasoids who seemed to talk less than she did. Well, this was a fun crew. Watching the food-getting process, she wanted to emit a bothered noise at the lack of cooks and lack of proper cooking, but could only manage a slight, barely audible 'Psh'. She wanted to get to know the mess staff. And finding out it was a machine, she was kind of disappointed, but punched in something to get a mixed salad anyway. For some reason, she had a craving for berries right now. When it materialized, she realized she must've made a mistake, since what she got was not exactly Pyras-sized - staring at the gigantic plate, she eventually gathered the wits to turn around and hope to catch the attention of one of the larger pyrasoids by flittering around them, continually forming the PSL signs for *I need help carrying something large*, which was, funnily enough, the most commonly used gesture ever.
Before the Xry could reply, Enyo turned his head to look around for the rest of the Awakened. With his right hand holding a square piece of bread, he saw the fairy struggling with her plate. He would think Troy could help her with it, but Enyo was already here and it wasn't too far away. He jumped out of the couch and walked towards the struggling female, eating he bread on the way. "You need any help?" Enyo said with a smile. When he realized she could not speak Terran he began laughing and scratching the back of his head "Of course you do" He took the plate and lifted with three of his fingers, trying not impress with just lifting it with one. He held it over his shoulder and asked "Where will you be sitting, little lady?". He tried to not flex too much, not wanting to reveal his muscles.
*Wherever you are sitting*, she communicated, hoping he'd understand, since he understood this. *Also I am capable of understanding your kind's language, idiot. Not that you understand this.* After a complex series of hand movements, she began to wave arms and legs frantically, but eventually, decided to take up perch on the man's shoulder, her thirty-centimetres-tall form lighter than expected as she sat down cross-legged and used another universal gesture: A shrug.
