And then the lone Ultra Marine descended from the heavens with the grace of a thousand doves. With a cape of gold and a scepter of fate, he single handedly purged every enemy of the emperor in sight. Tired from the steamy battle he slowly removed his power armor, exposing his manly muscles.... -.Excerpt from Matt Ward's first fan-fiction, later to be used in the MMO Eternal Crusade
Both of these deaths are before the campaign. The short story takes place before the 12th crusade. And the night lord triology takes place sometime before the 13th crusade. Our campaign takes place in the 13th crusade. So we know that she gets better, or we don't have all the information.
You do realize the current canon has been stuck at 999.M41 for about the past 10-real life years, right? A 10-year long year...
That has nothing to do with my point that EOT campaign has been gutted with retcons. Or is that you don't understand what I mean about Altansar's reappearance having been retconned to having nothing to do with the crusade? The campaign started getting retconned almost as soon as it was done. Originally Eldrad died while Cadia was still being fought over. Cadia has now fallen in current canon and Eldrad is still alive. Retcons everywhere.
I guess I didn't understand you meaning Altansar's reappearance was retconned to have nothing to do with the Black Crusade, because you didn't say that. You just said it's been around for yonks in current canon, to which I replied current canon has been stuck in the same year for 10 real-life years, me assuming "yonks" meant years and not WH40K ones, as like I said the timeline has been stuck at 999.M41 for about a decade. If Altansar did not reappear during the 13th Black Crusade when did it, and where is that information found? Further, where can the information be found saying that Cadia 100% officially fell, rather than is still being fought over?
[QUOTE="Zaeryn, post: 758441, member: 3858 Asdrubael's black hole shenanigans came after the Fall, [/QUOTE] Are you serious? The man is a psychopath and sociopath (and that is putting it nicely). NOTHING Vect has ever done or will ever do will be original. It is all on the shoulders of a great civilization that he hand his actions, along with others, destroyed. The man creates nothing. No dark kin create anything. They subdue, bend, change and duplicate what already exists, that is all. Their perversion of Eldar technology is a poor substitute for what they have lost and will never regain. Vect is a 10000 year old child.
