I am defiantly for insta death from a head shot, that would make the game much more closer to the lore and also make the game much more tactical. Else it would be another game were you unload a full mag on a guy and he is just a half healf
On counter strike i spray at people til i get headshots...Works fairly well with the MP5 So i see exactly were you are coming from
I had a similar opinion to Yours in the beginning but I changed my mind when i understood it would be unfair for melee specialists - they probably wouldn't have a lot of chance against a gunner shooting from point blank range. Some people suggested making melee weapons capable of insta kills too but that's against the direction the devs had already taken - long Time To Kill. This semms to be already sealed, I just hope that some heavy guns will be powerful enough to make the shooty classes a reasonable choice for the players.
another game? most games DO have insta kill headshots. halo and GOW space marine and HL2 based stuff are the only ones i can think of. funny enough, HL2 is such a good system...and SPACE MARINE is what this game is drawing on..
Good question, haven't thought about it before. Well, reasonably thinking it should be so but I doubt it will work this way, You know - slow TTK thing. Btw I love the idea of ap, air burst, inferno (etc) rounds - it can make a regular bolter much more usefull and versatile weapon in EC.
Definitely. Vengeance rounds are extremely useful against CSM, as stated in the lore. But the drawback is that if someone shot the magazine, it would explode. Risks to balance the uses.
