I hope to god they keep the unique weaponry for heros. I really wanna see an ork melee equip thats a space marines arm.
If we go by tt then even a single guardsman could take out a whole SM army if the rolls are super lucky ^^ In lore it just depends on who is the main guy If it is an Ork boy then he would propably kill a chaptermaster right before sleeping on the emperors Corpse lap ^^
This really highlights the issue. An Ork boy doesn't become a Nob just because he is a veteran. Becoming a Nob requires social context, perceived weakness in the current Nob and so on that triggers growth in the boy to become extra big an tuff. Rename the veteran class to Scarboy instead of Nob and it's quite fitting. Scarboys are after all just veterans that for some reason or another have not had that growth triggered. It's a bit like LSM veterans. Naming them Terminators would be really odd, since Terminators is something else than Veterans, even though all Terminators are Veterans. Same with Nobs.
All Terminators may be Veterans, but not all Veterans are Terminators. Same with how not every Nob has a suit of mega-armor in his closet. As it is Ork players are Skarboyz as regular Orks couldn't stand one-on-one with a Marine but we can. If they're gonna have us keep our size but still be a Veteran, then they better come up with a better name for it or something. Naming it 'Nob' but not having it actually BE a Nob is just too frustrating for us Orks.
