Nehk'kaar hissed as his face caught flame and he rapidly put it out hissing violently after a slew of angry curses in his native tongue which sounded only like raspy screeching the Rak'gol put out his face and made a mental note to be more careful with his powered pole arm , he looked at the dead cadians before he grabbed the discarded and bloodied las-carbines to sell later slinging them onto his back
Good, at least one understood. And luckily one of the powerhouses of the team. Sselesstleia comments on her mind. Show's over, boys. She fires her shardcarbine at the camera on the warehouse wall. If the soldiers inside aren't alarmed yet, it is their own shame.
Hearing the tap on her end of the comm-bead, Athernia took that as the signal that Sselesstleia and her group was ready to get moving. Meanwhile, the choice offered between asking the guards to open the gate or storming the room was a simple one, given that overly elaborate moves were not the best course of action.... If the absolute fiasco that was the assassination was anything to go by. So the Commorrite said to her latest recruits "No time to much around with the softly methods anymore: Let's take that security centre, if you don't mind leading the way." With that done, she leaned to Clint and quietly said "I know, but we need them. Anyways, we need to get going." Doing as she needed too, she got ready to follow her recruits, hands lingering by her pistols in anticipation of a firefight.
Finishing off the rest of the Cadians and getting ready to move again Kharos readied himself and Purity. "Purity let's get moving with Selestia seems we are making our move." Kharos said as he readied his las pistols and began moving to follow Selestia.
~~ Team 1 ~~ @BadDo9 | @Casavay | @Maleth While Guppy was merely observant of the situation, she also positioned herself at the rear of the group. She was no fighter, everyone knew that. She was a silver-tongued Pelager with sticky fingers. Nonetheless she was armed with a Las Carbine. And even without it, Clint kept a close eye on her. Perhaps he could protect her at least... But of course Atherina was on his radar, too. Just those cold-blooded murderers that just joined the Void Sharks apparently were something he wouldn't protect. They deliberately killed one of their own. "Sure thing, chieftain." The Sergeant mocked Atherina slightly and took the head of the group, his four men flanking him behind, two on each side. In a V formation they made a relatively good progress, which would be weird if not - considering their knowledge of the facility. They moved upstairs and along the catwalk. It wasn't far but neither quite close, half the warehouses' length. Then the Sergeant made a fist in the air as they were at the last turn, a signal to stand down. Everyone pressed themselves against the wall and he continued to make hand gestures. Four soldiers, outside of the room. Silent alarm triggered. Unknown number of soldiers inside. If one did take a quick peek around the corner or saw the security office for a moment, the unknown number was obvious - one-way windows similar to standard interrogation rooms. Those from the inside could look out, but those from outside couldn't look inside. Team 1 Enemies: 4 Cadian Bandits - Las Carbines & Shotguns (Outside the security office) ? Cadian Enforcers - Shotguns & Auto-Rifles (Inside the security office) ~~ Team 2 ~~ @TuskatheDaemonKilla | @BuriasDempsey | @Vulpas | @GoreWrencha | @Keidivh Surprisingly there were no enemies running out to face them. Perhaps they were yet to notice their presence? Or not! As Smiley made his climb, there was a 'beep beep beep' and before he could get into safety distance.... Nothing. He very well knew by now what a proximity mine was - and that had been one. But he also knew what a dud was and how lucky he must have been. But was further climbing up a good idea? What if he would actually hit a working mine? Then again they could have just been proximity-triggered audio tapes to scare possible invaders off. These were Cadians, not Catachans - after all. The rest of the majority of the group - including Purrity, Severath and Urkrag's monster gathered around Sselessteia, seeing her apparent as a natural leader - acting, rather than just talking. Having cleared away from the van, Sselesstleia removes the respirator from her scaly lips. "You are coming after all, huh? Atherina finissshed on her end, told usss to move in. Thisss time it isss okay to kill anything moving." She clarifies her sudden assault at the warehouse. Slithering to the support beam, she coils herself around it and begins to ascend for better advance position. "Feel free to go nutsss, hisss." Her tongue sips air ravenously, having grown needy of fragrances.
Nehk'kaar looks around before turning to the van and drawing his power sword. Therough the application of copious brute force and a powered bladd he rips the door off of the passenger side and hefts it as a sheild as he advances through to assist Athernia and crew against the cadians, lowering himself behind the door shield
"Well, guess that we can't really wait and let them solidify their advantage. Anyone got some grenades handy, as if you do, we can toss one inside the room to give them a little wake-up call. Once the guards outside are resting in the ground." Athernia said to everyone present, slowly drawing both of her pistols in preparation for combat. Weapons at the ready, she then said to her assembled new recruits and older gang members. "So who'd like the honour of going out first, unless you all want me to do it."
The Verathian was still in mid pose of climbing as he weighed him options, relieved that there was no explosion of a real mine or it being fake. But now he had to think on the possibilities before him, as he knew these things were never really deployed alone, always in patches like deadly unseen mushrooms back home. And speed was of the essence, he didn't have the time to tap into the spirits and see what the future could hold he had to decide now. Throwing better sense to the wind and challenging Lady luck herself, Carack continues in the hopes the mines were fake and he can get to the roof access now.
@GoreWrencha @Maleth Nehk'kaar tapped his commbead as he hauled his shield door towards the entrance Athernia and clint took . "Moving in to support Shade and Blue , wait for self to arrive. I have a idea to break Cadian line. Backup needed for plan" The Rak'gol kept moving not readily awaiting an answer though his speed slowed by the door allowed a small window for counter argument
