    "I am sure the Major would love to hear that." The Sergeant chuckled, crossing his arms. "Never thought that the Void Sharks would have the balls to march into an enemy camp with an idea like that. No wonder though then that your leader died from a little grill. So should I call you the Kabal of the Dead Fish, now that a Dark Eldar seems to run the show?" He tested their temperament, even elbowing one of his guards to force a nervous laugh out of him.

    Clint gritted his teeth and clenched his fists, making some of the Cadians wary of him but their weapons yet remain pointed at the ground.
  2. Severath coiled himself and sat low to the ground while they waited from something to happen. He fiddled around with his staff idly as despite his immortal nature he found his patience limited at the moment. He was feeling rather excited actually, it had been so long since he got to exercise his aggression on something. But he needed to wait for the leader to give their signal otherwise he would ruin their negotiations which would not be preferred. In his boredom he decided to see if he can strike up conversation with the cryptek.

    @Vulpas
    "So what Dynasty do you hail from Cryptek?" He asked looking up at the other necron from his coiled up position. Of course the position didn't give him any warmth but then again that sensation was something he had no use for and was long forgotten. All he really had was his memories and thoughts which he cherished above all else.

    With the Sergeant making a somewhat ill-timed, yet surprisingly funny joke, Athernia smirked in amusement before she said "Although that was admittedly a quite amusing piece of humour.... It's a bit too soon to be making such remarks around Clint, for you information. And besides, the other guy in charge is far more in tune with honour, if you're going to be worried about that." Needless to say, playing along with humour should help ease tensions. Hopefully.

    "Very well, at least you have not a stick up your arse." The Cadian responded, smirking. "Means we probably won't have another commissar anytime soon." He shrugged and the men chuckled a bit, must had been an insider joke.

    "And multiple people in charge, sounds awfully similar to the groxshit the High Lords of Terra go. No proper command structure? A Commander who calls the final shots without having to speak about it with another soul? You are going to be torn apart with internal struggle once you grow too big." It seemed like advice but on with a more careful hearing and understanding the tension that was going on, it might very well be an interview.

    When Clint was mentioned he simply put his hands on his Rifle and held onto it in similar fashion as the Cadian soldiers. The desire to put a round in someone's head grew, but a hero knew when it was wiser to not shoot.

    "I'm aware of that, but at least two people with absolute authority in their areas, which in my case is the financial 'how much cash do we have for all the ammo we need and pay everyone' is better than two people with shared responsibility in all areas, and makes it somewhat harder for a single assassin to decapitate the leadership of the Void Sharks in a single blow." Athernia replied trying to point out the upsides of how the Void sharks were currently organised.

    The Commorrite then said "Yet, so long as a sufficient hierarchy is developed, and plans are put in place should one or both of the leadership ends up quite dead and so we need to put up a successor.... And we don't swell up the ranks with useless bureaucrats or needless voting by everyone on what the Void Sharks should do, I think such a system will remain viable even when our group becomes quite large in the numbers department, if everyone in charge remains sane."

    "And by that obviously you refer to the mess the Hermedes are running into with their 14 year old kid for a leader, gotcha." The Sergeant acknowledged, smirking a bit. "Look the major is a sucker just because the Hermedes are fellow human. I myself? I don't give a piece of grox shit who is on top as long as I am part of that. Why? Because for Corpse Emperor's sake, this is an Alien Hive! It's ruled by aliens! Oh did I say too much?" He grins as one of his colleagues stumbled backwards, falling on his butt.

    "H-h-heretic!" His hand went for the Las Pistol on his holster but the Sergeant crushed it with a foot and shortly after went down to push his knee against his throat. The other Bandits seemed not much fazed by the revelation of an anti-imperialist amongst them, most likely already converted individuals. While the shocked Bandit on the ground was choking to death, the Sergeant looked up. "Unless you have a problem with our worldview, we gladly would dispose of the fool."

    Not much changed from the outside team, except that Fardir and Irlisa failed their task most likely. A truck came driving into the courtyard and stopped near the loading dock of the Cadian Bandit's warehouse. But they seemed quite slow in their movement, perhaps the group could close in and dispose of them before they ever make it inside? There were at least two in the front seats, but an unknown number in the back. The fact there were some in the back was seen from the lho-stick smoke rising up.

  7. Carack's relaxed attitude vanished instantly as the truck pulled up in a manner too suspicious for him. The verathian tries to catch Sselesstleia's attention. @GoreWrencha "Hey, ssseemsss like we have unwanted company. I I think one of those 'pict' thingsss isss watching where they are too. Could probably take them, if we take the machine thing out firssst. The ressst stay incassse Athernia or Clint call." he suggested, watching the truck as he waited for an answer. They were possibly the best to sneak up on such unsuspecting prey in the open, if the watchful machine thing wasn't there that is.

    @Maleth

    The fish had crossed her arms while listening, and was shifting her weight from one leg to another, unintentionally creating a bit of an inviting sway. "My friend here", she began, smiling under her black eyes, "is being a bit dry, I understand, and leaving you to figure out the perks of a position under her." Softly, she moved closer to Athernia and put a hand on her shoulder that slowly crept around to become a full arm - Dark Eldar permitting. "That also means over me."

    "Removed, a step to the side from Shark hierarchy. You could be a leader. And your men could be free with us. Almost autonomous, only requirement being a bit of tribute and regular intercourse with leadership. Isn't that right?"

    Guppy had assumed these men were less 'hearts and minds' and more 'groin' oriented when it came to negotiations, and had put on an act that even disgusted herself a little. But ultimately she was being suggestive without trying to sound such, and had intentionally made no promises. What was her fault if they misunderstood ordinary negotiation as double entendres?
  9. "That truck ssshould not be there. Hissss. Dessstroying the camera isss easssy, but we can't know if sssomeone isss obssserving the feed. It would alert them asss much asss appearing on the pict. But you have been correct before, Teethssspeaker. They aren't sssupposssed to receive reinforcementsss. You have hallucination grenadesss, yesss? Maybe we can incapacitate them without revealing ourssselvesss, perharpsss even draw more forcesss out and focusss their attention to sssingle point?" The Teethspeaker and Sslyth shared a vichyssoise of flourish filled with sibilant. It was rare for her to suggest anything less straight forward, but without a leader to protect, her standing wasn't strong enough among the gang to act as she pleases.
  10. "You raissse a good point." Carack agreed as he put a hand on one of the new grenades he had acquired. He didn't quiet like the cylinders that exploded in fire and burning metal, they took out much of the challenge of a hunt with too much ease. But from what he was told of these, he thought it was prudent to have something that could subdue prey without bleeding them. And they could be convenient for good misdirection. Putting on the rebreather unit he had with him, better safe than sorry, he nodded to the Sslyth, ready to move when she was.
