  1. Carack was eyeing the roof, wondering if there was access someone like him could use. @BadDo9 "I could ssscale the wall and get in, look for where all the camera feedsss go to and take that out. Maybe even the lightsss too. Give the ressst of usss an edge for the ambush or simply a better way in for them." Carack suggested as he watched the warehouse from where they were. He wasn't sure about the odd human called purrity, or the hulking creature that followed the new metal man, but hopefully they can hold their own in an direct attack.

"In that case Clint, I'd rather you and me go first into the lion's den to see if we can gather a few of them to our side." Athernia replied (@BadDo9 ), not even bothering to consider the use of that ladder, given that it would make too much noise even if distracted by her trying to sway some of their new targets to the Void Shark's cause. Course that left how they were meant to communicate should things go sideways, as they might very well do.

So the Dark Eldar turned to everyone else and asked "Anyone here got a comm-bead? Cause that way, if things go sideways I can just give a quick word over my own comm-bead rather than hope that loud yelling is enough to tell everyone that the excrement has hit the fan." After all, better communication was much more likely to help pull everyone's rear ends out of a sticky situation than overwhelming firepower, even if that did have it's place in the grand book of how to make people follow someone else's will.
  3. Purrity, hm? Cute. The snake states in her mind.

"I have one, sshh." Sselestleia hisses, custom bead entering her ear-hole in lack of proper ear like the mammals have. She carries the shardcarbine on her lower pair of arms, upper pair currently empty and crossed over her chest. As it should be, the Dark Eldar weapon emits aura of uneasiness when looked at, it's design carefully mastered to be as uncomfortable looking as possible with barbs covering it and sharp edges everywhere making holding it difficult. If the weapon looks that dangerous for the wielder, what it can do the it's targets?

"I have a Combead as well." Kharos said pointing to a piece of tape and a combead that was at what looked to be a ear hole in his head. "I am standing by ready for technical compromise of the cadians systems." Kharos said looking to there current leader.
  5. Severath had coiled himself again as he observed the building taking in it's primative architecture and fortification. His phase shift generator will allow him to literally slither through it and kill quite a few of the creatures like they were insects. But the creatures tend to swarm and he was a little rusty in the art of combat not to mention most of his equipment was barely functional. He looked to his staff of light for a moment and placed a hand in it's end. "I will wait for the right moment to strike. My staff has not tasted the blood of the living for so long I fear when I begin I may find it hard to stop myself," He said in his chilling sythetic voice as he looked at his staff.

Clint smiled a bit at Guppy's words, but then looked over at their Dark Eldar 'leader' with a slightly raised eyebrow. He wasn't a fan of either of the Eldar for having a power struggle in the wake of Artemis' death. And from what he'd been told about how it was handled, he was less impressed by her way. Especially given the reputation that Dark Eldar have.

"I don't think that would be a good idea, Athernia." Clint said flatly. "Humans are usually rather content to lump together based on race. In my case it worked out rather well. In your case... I would have more luck with getting my friends to become an arm of the void sharks if I didn't have something close to a living incarnation of betrayal and deceit with me. Especially given I'm asking them to betray.. I'd rather them trust me than worry they'll be betrayed in turn for their help."

"So, you're telling me that you'd be willing to risk things going wrong because you don't want someone around who can tell if the other side is planning a betrayal of their own, because you are so clearly worried about my reputation and how the Cadians might perceive your offer in relation to the company you keep?" Athernia replied to Clint (@BadDo9 ), also not impressed by his actions, arms folded. Why did it seem that just because she decided to take a slice of power to ensure that the group actually ran smoothly, Clint seemed to take an instant dislike to her?

After taking a moment to cool off, she sighed and then said "Fine, go with Guppy if you really think you know better than me. But if you get Guppy killed cause of a lack of forethought on your part... I will make you wish that you had died instead of her." After all, she liked the Pelagar given that she'd already helped the Commorrite considerably, and suffice to say she'd miss having someone who was reliable and helpful like Guppy... Whom the Dark Eldar did consider a friend, despite the squabbles of leadership.
  8. "Out of all the others here, who Actually kept a low profile last time until everything got turned upside down, hm?" Clint spat out at the Dark Eldar. Was he mad that she had some power? No. Was he pretty wary of her given that he'd been told that she more or less insinuated betraying others and them becoming as sadistic as in the Dark City?

    Yes.

And was her overbearing, threatening and rather petty manner of treating him helping him trust her? No.

"And don't you be trying to force all this on me." he growled out. "Has anyone else come up with a support plan? Anything else? Or perhaps you don't trust me huh? Worried that I'll ruin your own plans?" Clint growled out. Whatever emotions he had been holding in from before, she was making a rather easy target for herself.

"Maybe if anyone else was actually trying to plan you could see that you would be fine elsewhere. Rather than everyone just trying to come in with me. Or perhaps are you saying that Guppy isn't skilled enough to see through lies and deception?"

"And believe me. I already wish I could have died to save someone. I wish that four times over since I was born. Unlike whatever you seem to have been taught, I value loyalty and trust of others. Though maybe my own thoughts don't matter as much to you when you're in charge?"

"If you coming in as well is really the best - or only - plan you can make up, then maybe I'll bring you. But how about you start acting like a leader instead of trying to force me with fear and intimidation?"

"You are no leader. You don't care." as he turned away, he gave the deepest insight of what was truly going on with him to date. "Artemis... why wasn't..." he shook his head and walked away from the group. Not to the warehouse, but to a nearby alley where he leaned against the wall. He was far enough that words couldn't reach him, but if someone actually desired to speak with him - speak with - they would know where he was.

"This bickering is getting us no where, Clint, Athernia, We need to be working toghter and trusting each other, for we are a gang of individuals working towards the survival of our whole group, we must have trust in each other if we are to survive as a whole." Kharos said looking to the two almost a touch of aggravation in his voice.

"I have a calculated suggestion that may aid with a plan" Kharos said before he began

"I suggest those with combeads be split into groups with those that don't have com beads acting as a communication to other teams, each team having one to alert the others in case they are detected or making a move. I suggest Three or two teams, A assault team that will be tasked after the infiltration team is either detected or has done as much damage as it can to the cadians defenses, Clint's infiltration team, and a Auxillary team meant to be back up either for the infiltration team after the battle is under way." Kharos said adding ideas for a plan. "Clint can you lead your squad to disable the cadian defences and try to turn others over to the void sharks side?" Kharos asked looking to the tau before looking to the dark eldar. "Atherian, Can you lead both the assault and auxiliary team through a combead in porsder to make sure none of us accidently start a attack early?" Kharos asked idea taking form in his data banks.
  10. All this talking and arguing was strange to Sselesstleia. Naturally, she understands the importance of scheming and verbal manipulation of others, and partakes in such actions time to time to gain something from others. But as her race is one to serve others, this performance of two individuals trying to dominate each others with words was hard to understand. Why did not the other obey another? Were they not of different status? This was happening earlier too, way back in the wedding. Was it really that difficult to interact for those who do not serve? This equal standing seems just to make things complicated. They all should just obey the Boss.

Which was still bit unclear for herself, she admits. Having spent the 23 hours locked in her room with walls melting around her while the Commorrite and Corsair figured out the leadership left her refreshed from the horrors of the sewers, but little lacking in the knowledge of internal changes of leadership. No one dared to disobey the warning of drugged up Sslyth she had placed on her door either, much of her disappointment.
