"Okay I am going to say what everyone has on mind." Biam the Eldar Corsair started, standing tall - on top of a table. "Artemis is dead, it sucks. Yes. But you know how she wanted us to celebrate her death?! By throwing the biggest Khaine-damned party this place has ever seen! We want a proper burial and a proper remembrance for her?! Then let me lead you greed-driven bastards!" Biam boasted, raising his rifle towards the ceiling.

"Let's throw a free-booze party for everyone in this god forsaken district, let's get drunk, recruit half an army and do what Artemis would want us to! Take advantage of the Hermedes and Dragon bastards, kick their both asses and become the darn kings and queens of this grox-shit-filled hole!" Biam roared, Tan'ku and Vandu both seeing much the spirit of Artemis in the young Eldar they knocked on the tables in agreement.

Irritated by the sudden shouting, Cilith TessSha only slowly raised her head from the counter, and stared at this Eldar, bright yellow eyes not obscured by their black, oily, protectors. "You got anything except booze and an aggravating voice?" The grief over losing not her leader, but an old and close friend was written in her face, and she clearly wasn't impressed with his words.

"You out of everyone should know what Artemis would have wanted. We shall not let grief overcome us. It was her leadership and her will that we did what we did. And we achieved to open up an old wound of enemies which were ready to move on. I say we shall use this moment not to let despair get hold of us, but move onward in Artemis name and do what she had in mind with the Void Sharks. To make use of the situation and usurp the current leaders' thrones, to come out on top and to make her smile in whatever afterlife she lives now!" Biam responded with fire in his heart. Obviously it was a very determined decision of his and with nobody else wanting to lead, why not him? He already had a Rak'gols and a Vespid's support.

"I had my own corsair crew before I came here, having it all left behind for what Artemis had planned here. I followed her leadership like any of you. But I also have leadership skills, so I ask of you to at least give me a chance, to let me show you that the Void Sharks have still teeth."

  4. Urkrag sat outside the bar grumbling as he sowed up the wound where his right eye used to be. "Zogin weird umies." He grumbled as a sharp appendage cut the thread as he finished. He wasn't for for this kind of work he was a dok gork dammit not a nob. He needed to get out of here go find something he's more suited for and not another gang something else. Something where the only person he would really have to listen to is himself. A clinic! that would work he could just work on his experiments on occasionally be paid to fix someone up. He stood up a determined look in his remaining eye. He would have to find a location though and get the zog away from the idiots inside maybe leave them his friend he made using the parts from the dead gits. He called it the Orkination but he would need a proper name but he's sure the gits would come up with something. He then went inside to get his things and the Orkination ready for his leaving.

Nehk'kaar let out a screech to clear the air "You have one chance , if you lead us astray or to failure" The head of the halberd collided with the floor of the bar as the Rak'gol bared it teeth " I will rend you apart myself" Nehk'kaar turned to his Hunt brother " Your really have faith in this foolishness"

"He has the eagerness of a leader.... And I hunt. Whomever first proclaims, shall have my trust. Artemis trusted him. I trust him." Tan'ku said bluntly, being not much of a thinker. "Who else lead? A Dragon Lady? Other Fish Lady? Bug-Head?" He adds as a question, wondering if Nehk'kaar had a better idea.

Kharos stared at Nehk'kaar as he hissed at him and raised himself to the necrons size. Kharos only stared back with his eye gazing at the rak'gohl. "I heard a saying once said in the bar they say the eye is a window into the soul if so, What do you see is in my soul currently rak'ghol?" Kharos said as he stared at him. Kharos felt insulted and angered that the rak goal would even try to pick a fight at a time like this.

As one of the eldar suggested being leader Kharos began doing calculations in his head on who was closets to artremis and who had a possible mind similar to hers. "Suggestions, Atherina or Smiley as possible new leader or our corsair," Kharos said as he finished his own calculations.
  8. With the gang either already in the bar talking or getting there, Carack was walking up the stairs from the barracks down below with a bottle in hand and bare chested wrapped in stained bandages over the wounds he took over the last few days from the jobs he helped out, the side of his face still a dark shade of purple from taking the one hit knock out from that beast man thing. The firewater helped numbed the dull pain when consumed enough, both the physical ones and the one he acquired after Guppy and them came back. Despite the drunken haze, it all sounded like they were talking about what Artemis wanted, who should take up the spot as pack leader, and some rather course words from Nehk'kaar and Guppy. When metalman Kharos suggested Carack and two others, to which he shook his head in disagreement. "No, the role of the Teethssspeaker is not to lead a pack, but to advissse and council the pack leader and defending the pack. And I have failed that once before. Biam hasss the ssspirit and the experience, Atherina ssseemsss to understand how thisss hive worksss rather well." Smiley said with a bit of a slur as he took a seat next to Guppy who seemed to have taken what happened the hardest.
@Casavay "....I didn't know her asss long or well asss you did, that much is obviousss, but I ssstill consssidered Artemisss asss a friend. Ssshe let a rambling creature talking about visionsss and readingss from teeth of grander things into her bar and her group jussst on a hunch and kindnesss. Promisssing me those visssionss would become reality. Now...here we are, guessss bad luck can't really be predicted even with the ssspiritsss. If there isss at leassst one thing I would guesss right now about her, I doubt ssshe would want you, a close pack mate, to make yourssself sssuffer ssso over sssomething you couldn't control." He said as he put the still half full bottle on the table between them. "It'll take time, like any wound, but you still have friends here. Even if it isssn't obviousss." He told the Phlegar with genuine sincerity, a lopsided smile due to heavy bruising on the usually predatory face.

After the mission with the Tau-Tek, Clint hadn't been seen much. And this time, it wasn't that he had gotten stuck in front of the screen of his picts. In fact, he hadn't watched one for a while, nor even went to Irlisa ( @Keidivh ) for his hat after a bet they made the day before. The Tau simply sat on the roof for most every day. Just like most of them down there, Artimis had taken him in. Although it was nearly as if she'd been as a mother to him, given when she first found him, and took him in,giving him a place to lay his head for the night.

And now? She was gone. Maybe if he'd been faster on some draw, been more aware... the Tau knew that he couldn't have helped, deep inside he knew. But he couldn't help and beat himself for it. He couldn't even bring himself to watch his picts. Everything was broken for him.

Athernia only now started to come to terms with Artemis dying, having grieved for the loss of the Pelager quite badly, if not as badly as Guppy did, after all... She was taken in at a bad time by her. But in the bar, the discussion of who should take the position of leadership roused her, as if Artemis was gone, she wanted to step into the leadership position purely because there were few that she could consider good enough to fill the shoes vacated by their now dead Pelager.

So the Dark Eldar turned to face Biam and somewhat quietly (yet loud enough for everyone to hear) said "It would be very easy for the Dragons to misconstruct our 'celebration' of Artemis's passing as proof that we were responsible for the Feast going as it did, as they might see the event in a far different light than us and be willing to investigate other possibilities that someone else was responsible. And may I add, any leader with two brain cells to rub together would understand that such rash actions such as suddenly splurging our funds to gather up an army would merely serve to paint a target on our backs as a threat to anyone else who wishes to take advantage of the chaos by knocking out their competition while they can, and stealing whatever funds we have left over."

Gaining a little confidence, the Commorrite raised her voice a touch louder and said "Instead, I would like to take the lead. After all, we are in a Hive that is pretty much like the Dark City in the nature of it's inhabitants, and so, I would be far better suited to orchestrating our rise to power given my survival of such conditions, as I think everyone want to make sure that Artemis's death wasn't in vain." She didn't say anymore, hoping to let those words start to sway people toward putting herself as their new leader instead of the Corsair.
