Thank you,Keeper of the vault,i will consult these pages when need arises. As for brother Grigdusher and Chaos lord Aadil, (I don't know the words to discribe how awesome i find it that everyone of any 40K community talks like being part of it and how a completly friendly comunication can be maintained while threatening to destroy the others intire following.) That being said, may the Emperor protect all of you, except Aadil for obvious reason.
Don't worry, I have 4 Gods protecting and watching over me, with armies of my brethren backing up. There is no need to be concerned. (and yeah, EC community is really friendly and awesome)
Greetings fellow Battle Brothers, Xenos, Mutants and Heretics! I'm really looking forward to the Eternal Crusade MMO. I'm a great reader of Wh40k novels, specifically the Grey Knights, Pre Heresy Thousand Sons and the Horus Heresy series! Onto the game, I'll be fighting on the loyalists side, if Grey Knights won't be available then the Exorcists Space marine chapter. Also, in the Miguel Caron interview on youtube there was word on the option within the game to create your own chapters as well, so we'll see. Anyways, looking forward in seeing you all on the field of battle! For the EMPEROR!
I, Urian Velos, proud member of the 4th Company of the Ultramarines welcome you Battle-Brother! In the Ultramar system you shall be always welcome and our wisdom shared with you, so that you may learn the ways of Courage and Honour we Ultramarines live! May the God Emperor protect you from Heresy and Xenos that you will always stay in our rows! If you ever seek knowledge I would like to guide you, despite that I am a Devastor-Brother I have gained great knowledge and experience being an Ultramarine under Captain Idaeus and his Successor Uriel Ventris! ps: I really like to tell people about the wh40k lore and learn and such. I got started with Dawn of War and then started to learn about the books and such and then I really really got into it. After all I got 1 friend complete dragged into the lore, lol! And indeed the EC community is awesome with being "Frien-emies" Anyway if you like me to I can give you some teaching in the wh40k lore, either here in the forum or via Skype or such. Besides reading the Wh40k Novels help a lot! I read the Blood Raven & Ultramarine novels this far only, but only because I don't find much time to read <.<
Gratitude fellow Battle Brother! The Ultramarines are the best of the Imperium of Man, I did post this small comic somewhere here on forum: http://s15.postimg.org/ifoisn3t7/Ultaramar01.jpg I'm only interested what happened with Uriel Ventris and his comrade after the Grey Knights put them through a trial in a form of Duel? And what happened with the Necron Arm afterwards? Thank you.
I PM'ed you the story.... ^^ Its a bit long and perhaps more than you wanted, but hey I loved the books! Anyway, where is that comic from? Any energy sword in the hand of an Ultramarine always remembers me into Idaeus & Ventris... ^^
Thanks Ultra marine,i will take you up on your kindness when passing your system and direct any questions that the VaultofTerra do not answer to you. I wish to become a Devastator myself,so any guiding is welcome.
The path of a Devastator is a hard one, but I will welcome any friend amongst the Devastators as together we must suppress the enemy to make advance of our troops possible. Furthermore we have to be ready to change between Heavy Bolters and Laser Cannons to adapt to Vehicles and Infantry, precision is a must! Even with spreading weapons like Heavy Bolters, your bullets must hit. With the Plasma or Laser Cannon... Missing is not an option as it could mean destruction among your allies! Your sight must be clear, your heart pure, your courage passioned your honor strong and most importantly your stance must be stable. Do not let the enemy come close as in melee you will lose, tell the Assault and Tactical marines and inform them about movements! Your position is high and most of a good lookout so you are to a big part a scout as well. ps: that is how I personally feel and how I think is the best way. And kinda how I experienced during "Space Marine" and some of the Wh40k novels I read. SOOOO it could be that the gameplay in EC is kinda different from that ^^ I also think it is important to know as a Devastator to stay AWAY from the action and not storm into fights. Distance is your friend as you have also a lot of ammo with an impressive range. the moment you are caught in melee, you are dead. Kinda makes also sense in general warfare, because your weapon is heavy you cannot move so much and so fast like others of your team.
