    Ace dakka is the most lethal ork weapon. Penetration is overrated in melee, so 40 lifesteal is still pretty huge. Git prod can oneshot anyone with a back attack. Rodeo shoota is the best ranged weapon for duelling that the orks have, short only of the vengeance SB. If melee speed was overrated, everyone would be using power fists, so the burny choppa is still very competitive.

    I'll agree that the other uniques are sorely in need of work, but the flaws of the weapons I have listed don't make them bad. They make them balanced.

    If anything, we have uniques that aren't broken. I'm sorry if that counts as bad to you.

    Why are Orks getting nerfed?

    On Ork teams I seem to win 10-20% of matches. So, what the hell?

    The Ace Dakka is getting an extremely small nerf (more unbraced recoil, and an irrelevant heat bump), and rokkits are getting a slight nerf (aoe 300dmg, OHK on direct hit, more accuracy).

    So it's nowhere near the end of the world. Also, orks have a much higher win rate than that.

    I didn't say speed was underrated, I said that the choppa blade has no speed advantage over it's higher impact brethren save for maybe 0.25s faster heavy attack.

    If penetration was overrated, noone would use power weapons because the equivalents are cheaper for the same damage. At best an 80 pen weapon runs at 10% damage reduction with people running no extra toughness, add the T1 red armor and you're looking at 20-25% less damage on all attacks. Tell me that doesn't make a difference.

    140 penetration weapons should be rated exactly where everyone thinks they are: RIDICULOUS because 100LP for a power negates all toughness items in the entire game(many of which cost 2-4 TIMES the amount of LP), and bonus health comes in such hilariously low numbers that health alone does not increase the number of hits needed to kill someone in melee by any more than 1 in almost every case (if an extra attack at all).

    Also the other races do not have the luxury of duels because most games against LSM are 1v2. Literally every fight I get into is anywhere from 1v2 to 1v5 because we just don't have as many players in the game, and most of my allies are always dead as a result.

    So alot of this LSM hate going on about uniques...

    Other than the Vengeance Stormbolter which is admittedly too strong, and the new Gravgun which is too new to actually analyze...

    What uniques do you think LSM have that's so much above what the Orkz have?

    Which has nothing to do with unique weapons.

    And before the ball gets rolling on the "LSM animations are better because Devs like you more" train, let's not forget that the first two factions in the game were LSM and CSM. Let's also not forget that the last faction added into the game, 2 weeks before launch mind you, were the Orkz. Maybe, just maybe, it isn't that the Devs liked us more, but it's the fact that LSM and CSM were around almost 2 years longer?

    Can I join your Ork team, kinda tired of getting crushed or barely losing.



    Also, rokkits have an almost useless splash damage already. I think people are confusing rokkits with the massive AOE splash of plasma, mortars, or grenades.

    My rokkit experience, which a is a lot of since its the only weapon to counter apothecaries and kill vehicles for shoota.
    • Direct hits don't always kill (clueless how this works but it happens)
    • Direct shots towards the feet almost always a kill
    • Indirect shots don't kill ever........ever.........EVER.........EEEEEVER, most times it doesn't even appear to damage
    • Group kills only occur when players are standing on top of eachother; revive, execution, narth heal...
    I don't understand why the nerf it is already preforming as the nerf intends? My concern is this nerf will make rokkits not even kill on a direct shot, considering they barely work now at doing that.
