With the guard accepting her invitation, Elias nodded her thanks to the guard as she was handed back her papers before the mage walked over to the main door and went on through them to reach the great hallway. Given the speed of her departure, she was not willing to hang around too long to see who else was going on this Crusade. After all if she had the Elusine Knights looking at her and if they decided to take it from just looking to questioning her.... Ferifan thought that it would end rather poorly for all parties involved.

Ooooohh... He was so tempted - but alas, The Mighty Benjamin had decided that he must escape first. With a scratch at his neck, the ferret wasted no time in bouncing over and leaping onto the servant trolley!

    NOW!

.... To see about stealing somethin to munch on; just a simple thing, no need to get ludicrous. This is his only way out, so he had to 'play nice'. They wouldn't mind losing a single extra berry~.
  3. Riding through the city streets headed for the quite obvious castle at it's center the group of Nordlich Knights arrived rather quickly. They stopped short and the High Priest looked towards Ferdinand and they spoke to each other in a northern dialect. He was to be their representative inside the castle while they tended to their own troops outside the walls. Ferdinand obediently dismounted taking his equipment off of his horse and got into line behind the woman that was currently speaking to the man at the desk.

Urghak smiled to himself and decided to leave his business there as a surprise to Ferdinand, with-drawing his sealed invitation from his pouch and strolling up to the castle entrance, taking in the vibrant city and its sounds of life whilst grinning as he displayed the parchment to the shocked guards.
"I 'ave an invitation don't I? Bet you bucket-tops didn't expect that huh." He said referring to their flat helmets in jest. Shortly after they checked the seal for authenticity they allowed him entry and he strode through the reinforced doors.

    "Am I..alright?"
The guard looked at her a bit confused. Then he glanced around him if any superiors were within earshot.
"Well, I've developed a rash and that damn new commander is a hard ass, I've been sitting here for weeks giving everyone passage, for Elusine knows how minor reasons..." The guard kept ranting on, finally finding someone who cared enough to listen.

A dour knight who wasn't wearing a helmet passed the people gathered at the gate reading a letter while walking.
He shifted his focus to the group gathered at the gate and the ranting guard especially.
"...and the food they give serve at the barracks is just worthless slop what tastes like horses ar-" The ranting stopped mid speech when the guard realized who was standing next to the group.

"There's lots of things we don't expect from you." The knight said to Urghak's barb.
"Commander..." said the guard swallowing anxiety.
"I think there is a shovel at the stables that's looking for you."
    "Yes, sir."
The guard left his post for his new duties. The knight sighed and turned to all who were gathered.
"Knight Commander Ulrich, Knights Elusine. We have been expecting you all. You are granted entry, don't enter the throne room or the inner castle."
Ulrich fixed an appraising stare at the gathered, especially the barbarians Gunther and Urghak. He nodded to Shaila and turned his gaze to Noburo and Ferdinand.
"The king will see you as soon as he can, it is an honor to have you here, quarters have been prepared for you and your companion. I am glad to see Nordlich answered the call. The war should turn more in our favor now."
Ulrich browsed the myriad papers on the table and looked at the many knights performing their duties.
"If you have anything to ask make it quick. Forgive my manner but I have much to do still."
He waved over a random guard to take the former's place at the table.

The maid only nodded to Ori and fixed an anxious smile on her face. Once Gunther left she felt a bit more unsafe with armed foreigners in the tavern. Tensions were high these days. She hoped to all gods that nobody would start anything.
    "Bacon coming right up."
After a few minutes she delivered his food, wiping her forehead tired.
"There you go, sir. Now excuse me but much to do."
With that said she hurried off again. Several patrons were sipping their drinks and ogling Ori and his retinue from the corner of their eyes.
One drunkard especially was more loud than the rest and his friends seemed to have trouble holding him from doing anything stupid.

Aboard the trolley Benjamin was being taken into the throne room if he decided to stay on it. There were baskets of bread, berries and fruit at the lower parts of the trolley. Strawberries, blueberries, apples, pears even. It wasn't long before Benjamin felt the trolley bumping into something. A girly yelp was heard and a small icon of Elusine rolled one the ground and stopped next to Benjamin.
"Oh, I am so sorry my lady! Forgive me, please!" Voice of the frightened servant echoed in the hallway.
"It is quite alright, no harm done." This one was a gentle, beautiful voice.

A remarkably beautiful woman reached for the icon, she was dressed in black and blue dress with almost shining platinum blonde hair and completely silver colored eyes. Benjamin recognized her as Lady Gwyneth, and she was currently on her knees beside the trolley staring straight at Benjamin, with a confused look on her face. She smiled at him, picked a strawberry and stood back up.
"Everything is fine. Just stole a berry."
Gwyneth said smiling. The servant laughed nervously and the trolley began moving again toward the throne room.

Arriving in the great hallway there were already a few nobles sitting on benches waiting for the throne room to open. They looked at Elisa a bit interested who she was, but mostly left her alone. Maybe they had even heard of her exploits and were working up the courage to talk to her.

The hallway had large paintings of Elusine and other Ostyakan historical figures.
Elusine was usually depicted sword in hand with fire colored hair flowing like angry flames, she almost always had an aura around her. The beautiful warrior saint's most famous moment was when she was fighting several dragons and an army of beasts in her final hours. That was the most commonly painted moment. There were pieces where she healed the sick and removed curses also hanging on the walls.

Urghak laughed at the retort and turned to listen to the veteran knight introducing them. He tried to anyway. His attention span wasn't outstanding at the best of times, and easily compared to that of a youngling. He was finally done scratching that itch when he noticed the figure looking him over and quickly stuck his finger into his ear to appease another niggling nuisance. When this was done he puffed out his cheeks and stretched a little, feeling restless in the stony confines of the castle before his gaze wandered over some of the maids unenthusiastically.

Finally the knight had stopped talking and he took a quick look at his surrounding companions before striding over to Ferdinand in order to offer up a handshake and some friendly company.

Ori tried thinking of his introduction to the king but that drunken patron kept opening that latrine he calls a mouth. Ori spun towards the man, an agitated face that matched his agitated voice "I'm sorry, are you one of the ladies in the court for you to be speaking that much? Certainly not I'd think, a face like that shouldn't be legal" Ori said insultingly at the man. Ori's retinue laughed, as the man's ears reddened. The man approached Ori, a foul stench lingered on the man as he neared Ori. The man glared at Ori, "Oi, you're not from here are ya?" the man asked. Ori gave a mocking grin at the man "Oh dear me, what gave it away? The size of my cock?" voice dripping with sarcasm. The man growled and came closer to Ori, prompting Ori to stand up. Ori came close enough to smell the man's breath, to which Ori cringed his nose "I'm sorry, were you drinkimg beer or piss?" The man balled his right hand into a fist "Insult me one more time and you'll be bleeding on the ground" the man threatened. Ori smirked and replied "Gladly". Ori dodged the hook the man gave, chuckling as he faced the man with fists raised "I would've hit your balls but I wouldn't hit anything now would I?" His men and the drunkard's men started to rise but the drunkard barked "No, I'll kill this bastard myself" as he pulled out a crude dagger. Ori laughed as he sidestepped the man's clumsy stab. Ori leaned back to evade the man's swipe, not breaking a sweat. Finally, Ori grabbed the man's wrist, using the man's momentum to drag his hand before stopping and bending the wrist. An audible snap was heard as the man dropped his knife and cried in pain. Ori grabbed the man's wrist prompting a agonized scream. Ori said to the whimpering drunkard "I'd think you had enough for a night, go home, thanks for the warm welcome tho" before releasing the fractured wrist. The man and his gang scurried out of the tavern as a moment of silence passed. Then, Ori and his retinue laughed, their laughter filling the taverns.

Having arrived in the great hallway. Elisa took a cursory glance at the at the paintings on the wall as she wasn't particularly concerned about the glorification of Elusine and other members of history Ostyakan. (Given she'd rather find actual information about what they did, instead of just look at what they were thought to have done.)

After the brief glance at the paintings, the Mage took a seat on one of the benches and pointedly brought out one of her books, reading her tome of gathered arcana in a manner that made it clear she was rather welcoming to any interruptions from the nobility if they wished to speak with her, eyes spending more time looking around the place and seeing who else was around than paying attentions to the words written on the paper.

Ferdinand listened to the knight commander and nodding when he was addressed but also noticing his old friend's clear lack of interest with mild annoyance. Once the commander had finished speaking he looked to Urghak who had extended his hand and he grabbed it. Giving it a firm squeeze and shake in a friendly manner but still a little annoyed. Mostly because this man of all people was the last thing he thought he would see at a meeting that was about the details for a crusade. "Aldenvater's breath Urghak, how did you end up with an invitation?" He asked half expecting him to say he stole it.

Shaila nodded in thanks before departing. Shortly after she would enter the great hallway. She immediately took note of the woman she had seen just before once she'd entered the castle. Shaila stood around for a moment and simply examined the various paintings on the walls before she approached. She eventually decided to approach the woman as she sat on the bench.

Shaila smiled at the woman with a nod. "Greetings! I saw you out front earlier and it would seem we are here for the same reason?" She paused. "I'm Shaila." She looked at the tome for a moment. "An interesting book you have there."
