I'm thinking that in the grand scheme of things, orkz will have some sort of "WAAAGH!" mechanic. I was thinking that there could be a "Global WAAAAGH!" Meter. This WAAAGH! meter fills the more that Orks fight and win. The Global WAAAAGH! helps future battles by cutting down spawn time for Orks. The larger the meter is filled, the less time it takes to spawn until it's mere seconds. However, the more battles that are lost, the WAAAAGH! Meter will go down, and once the meter is less than half full, in-fighting will be required to rise the WAAAGH! Meter. How in-fighting will work is that before the Orks can attack anymore territories, they must play matches against each other. They can be sub-faction specific or not, but Orks need to start fighting in matches against each other. It doesn't matter which side wins the match, but both sides need a semi-equal amount of collective XP for the fight to raise WAAAGH!! So both sides have to TRY and fight. Once enough in-fighting has occured and the WAAAGH! Meter is more than half full, they can then turn their attention back on the enemy. In-fighting brings the WAAAGH! Meter up a few notches, so one or two losses after doesn't hurt the meter much, but battles must be won, and the more that are won, the less spawn time per match, and the more you can kill!
Neat idea but not practicable. Giving one faction a mechanic where they can get a buff and the others not won't work from a balance standpoint.
There are few ideas in the forum: less respawn time and more cap for match, an auto fill of ai ork if there are not enought PG in game or every player control a group of orks.
I'd love this, but 1 faction getting penalised for losing, and then being forced to not fight the enemy for a few minutes would be rather counterproductive. On the other hand, executing weaker members of the Ork Faction that made us lose would relieve stress.
I've never really considered the WAAAAGH from a metagame standpoint. after all we're in a WAAAGH automatically by being in Arkhona. I do like the idea but I have to think about it. I'll do so and come back.
I'd ratha see da WAAAAAGH! be in da fightin', not in da big map. I'd wanna see each o da boyz get der own WAAAGH!, and when dey use it, da otha boyz wot gotz their WAAAAGH full, can use ders too. Da more boyz dat WAAAAGH!, da more killy deyz get. So yeh, get da mekz in here so deyz can fix dat up. Actual Explanation: Each player would have their own WAAAAGH! meter that fills up as they get kills or are around kills. Something like 5 kills or assists would be good, not too hard to get, bot not really spammable. When full, they can trigger their WAAAAGH!, making them, and those around them move faster and hit harder (shoot faster for shoota boyz), and of course, yell WAAAAAAAAGH!!! This effect would stack if multiple players used their WAAAAAGH! at the same time, meaning that if 10 boyz can get a full WAAAAGH meter, and they all use it, they would move MUCH faster and hit MUCH harder. The buff would last maybe 10 seconds, but the effect would be extended for each kill or assist the player gets/is around, meaning that they have to keep fighting and killing to keep the buff, which works since Orkz are all about that aggression.
Why would we be infighting when there 4 other factions to fight? The level of in fighting you want would require something like the death of skarblitz to cause. And since I doubt he will die until a better hero leader is writen ( plsplsplspls) or the game is ending we will have him for some time.
No to infighting .And yes i know this is about orks but gameplay>lore in my opinion and this would be bad for gameplay.And it also make the devs to copy/paste it to another faction ...and i wouldnt like that at all!
