"So I said, 'Give us all you got! See this armour? It says Imperial and the Empire owns everything so we own everything.' Made the farmer shit bricks I tell you! Man this is the easy life right now..." A voice hollered out followed by laughter as two figures approached their position. Both were wearing full armour with visors over their upper face, weapons relaxed. As they continued forwards unaware, they would enter a small corridor linking one section of the rooftop to the other where they would be out of line of sight until they finished crossing. Opposite of either side stood at least one sentry manning a floodlight which panned slowly across the rooftop in lazy, predictable circles. Obviously, those posted on the rooftop thought this was an easy victory for them and weren't even thinking of the possibility that their enemy could be right on their doorstep. The duo continued their patrol through the rain stopping every once in a while to watch a transport fly overhead or when a particularly large thunder-strike would lance through the air. While rain continued to beat down across the academy in greater violence, it would seem that those up here at least had the discipline to not go inside yet but as the weather conditions continued to worsen, that may change.
Nudging Straf he motioned towards the two patrolling guards. If they were gonna sneak in with a disguise this seemed to be their best chance. He motioned for Valpine to looked for a vent to hide the two guards once they were finished with the task at hand. He readied his stun baton and slowly crept up behind the guards making sure he stayed out of the floodlights. He looked back to ensure that Straf was with him. They would have to strike fast and accurately to ensure they weren't caught. He checked one last time to ensure the floodlights could not see their attack point before he nodded to Straf. He attacked the guard by thrusting the stun baton into the neck joint of his armor in an attempt to render him unconscious. Hopefully Straf would be quick in following suit!
Straf followed Andros as quickly and quietly as he could. Keeping one eye on the roaming spotlights around the compound, the young man memorized their search pattern as best as he could as they approached the two isolated patrolmen. As Andros snuck upon one of the guards, Straf approached the other. While his team member aimed the stun baton into the neck joint of his target, Straf went for beneath the arm, thrusting his stun baton up at the armpit then re-angling it back down into the midsection beneath the armor.
Grunting outwards, the rear most guard was taken completely by surprise and began to spasm heavily before slumping down against Andros. However, the sound was loud enough for the other trooper to turn around to see what was going on. Seeing the charging form of Straf, the recruit let out a yelp of surprise and dropped his training blaster which discharged silently into the light but was noticeable by a nearby lookout who began to holler out to another patrol to investigate. A loud thunderclap slammed overhead silencing the struggle but if they didn't act quickly, they would be discovered. "Stevenson!? Marcus!? What's going on over there? The hell are you shooting at without warning us?" A female voice shouted out from the shadows as another patrol neared by. Looks like they hadn't suspected the two guards had been assaulted...yet....
Straf quickly ran at the now disarmed guard, aiming the stun baton at the knees this time, aiming to take down the guard with a low blow then a finisher on the neck. Hopefully Andros will be able to get his armor on and calm the other lookout down without his help.
Removing one of the guard's helmets he quickly removed his own helmet and placed the other on his head. "Sorry there was a womp rat. Won't happen again." He drug the guard he had towards a shadowy corner in an attempt to hide him. He quickly took up a spot that the next guard would hopefully pass by. The situation wasn't going exactly as planned. He would need to time this out just right and hope there wasn't more than one guard investigating. That and he hoped they wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't Stevenson or Marcus!
Valpine was by a vent she quickly opened it big enough to stuff the two bodys she waved over her two team mates from the shadows she kept it open as they came by. "Found a place to hide them Don't think there uniforms will fit me though. I can try to find A way for our escape though, Know how to Pilot A speeder or possibly a vehicle I can Drive out." Valpine whispered to the others as she began looking over the barracks possibly looking for a speeders or hovercraft.
Rounding the corner, a sergeant with red stripes on her armour blinded them with her torch. Seeing the two "guards" she immediately began to holler at them. "The fuck are you two arse-wipes doing. This is the fucking Imperial Army, not some militia. Get back to your posts and continue your patrol!" Storming off in a rage accompanied by five other troopers, the officer went back towards the meager shelter of an overhang. Looks like they had narrowly avoided detection and saved only by the stormy weather but that luck wouldn't hold had the officer pressed them for questions or even waited for a response. Valpines quick retreat however did catch the attention of a guard on a higher balcony who decided to follow her into the duct works. Most likely with some devilish idea, their mission was about to get a bit more hairy...or worst. However, with the route cleared for now, all that was left was for the two of them to find a way inside without arousing too much suspicion and secure the flag. With three roof access junctions, one of them being blocked by the sergeant who had stormed off recently, they had two possible entrances. Granted their disguises would fool anyone visually and without much inspection, there was no way of knowing if their identities would stand the test if provoked.
Straf looked at Andros, "I don't see Valpines anywhere, but we need to get rid of the bodies. Help me look for a quick way to do that." He began looking for a suitable place to place the bodies without having to worry about a stray patrol stumbling upon them.
Vulpine Moved through the vent works carefully as she noticed two troopers approaching near she shut the vent as she went moving down the vent works she pressed a button activating a Com and tapped it signaling there team of where she was. "I am in the vents." she whispered as she wen't giving them a signal of were she wen't hoping they would find her. She continued onward soon finding herself at a junction. She continued deciding to head left hoping to find the machine shop and vehicle center for the barracks. She kept her blaster in hand as she moved quietly
