The Imperial Fists and their successor chapters just have so much more flavour (to me atleast) than the other chapters. Fists are the best siege and urban fighters in the imperium and are amongst the best with bolt weapons out of all the chapters, They are legendary stubborn and are loath to fall back. The Black Templars are the largerst chapter with around 6,000 marines scatterd around on crusades and are the only chapter to have crusaded 10,000 years straight. They are masters of quick atacks (Drop pods and thunderhawks deployment) and are extreamly good at mele, They are fiercly loyal and have a huge hardon for slaying psykers (with the new fluff they dont hate librarians, Astropaths and navigators) and are one of few chapters that do not have librarians. I dont know much about the Crimson Fists tbh but they are a rather interesting chapter that i need to read more about. Well,,,, The only fiercer battles would be the team killing done by Dark Angels as soon as they found out that a fallen captain had spawned on the field. But not by much.
For me, the Imperial Fists really attracted me because they put Duty and loyalty before anything else. Duty and Loyalty to the Emperor, to the Imperium. They stand when no others will, without flinching. Plus me coming from an Engineering background really gives them bonus points for siege specialists

I'm afraid IF will not be a choice. Looking at what they did for Chaos I expect Salamanders, Black Templars or another Imperial Fist successor and a newer chapter (Iron Snakes, Death Spectres, etc). Imperial Fists have awesome successors (Black Templars, Crimson Fist, Excoriators, Iron Knights). They won't have two choices for the Sons of Dorn. If I can't vote for IF I will vote for their successor.
Black Templars are not going to be an option, which automatically dismisses all other successor chapters. The reason Chaos had such a limited pool of choices is because they won't have god-legions at launch.
