"Muties." Pool spat to the floor and shoulder charged into the Ghoul that was atop the Eagle.

  2. B4Rk, still admist his combat protocols, looked around as if scanning the area for additional hostiles. One of which was spotted and happened to be crawling away at the moment. Bark's combat protocols made no distinction between hostiles who were attacking and those trying to flee. And it was unfortunate for the ghoul that it had no intelligible means of surrendering. [Active Hostile Detected] the translator bellowed as he was able to take notice of the crawling ghoul.

With combat programs running through Bark's head the Cyberdog ran toward the fallen ghoul and went for the throat.

Finishing off the ghoul that was trying to crawl away. No stragglers. Not with his combat programming still active.

Seeing that the Bark was happily executing the fleeing ghoul, Jace turned his attention to the last ghoul Pool was now wrestling to the ground. Whipping out his combat knife, he charged in to assist, trying to stab the damn zombie in the head!

"Fricken zombies man, always gotta be fricken zombies!"

"They're just muties. They look, smell and are disgusting but shoot them and they die."

Pool succeeded in pushing the Ghoul off of Eagle. Dazzed by the attack, leaving itself open to attack.
Bark executed both his programming and the crippled Ghoul. To some this was a mercy. Feral ghouls amounting to little more than dangerous fauna. No longer in a body they can recognize and a mind turned to jelly. Still, the hollow rasps of the Ghoul could be heard before a loud snapping sound ended it.
As B4RK recovered from combat mode, he detects sudden movement but could not pin point the exact location. An ancient sewer drain was not too far away from the batle. The sound of a slight scuffling of a creature moving out of sight or simply an animal looking for cover. It would be hard to discern even if Bark was a top of the line Cyberdog. Checking again, Bark would find nothing there now accept a strange smell that reminded him of flowers. Did he even know what a flower was?
It shrieked and bellowed as the combat blade sunk deep into it's skull. When it's lungs finally caught up to it's impaled brain, its shouts died down to a soft gurgling noise before finally taking its laft exhale. Slumping to the ground, a light flashes from it's hand as the sun hit it. A tarnished golden ring still visible upon it's decayed finger.
With the last of the Ghouls dead, Delta Squad recovered. Some of the Ghouls gave off small levels of radiation. Eagle, Pooland B4RK getting the worst of it and will require Rad-Away.
"Well done Delat! That could have been much worse. Patch up and drink some purified water quickly. The ferals may be gone now, but I wouldn't doubt something heard all that. We make for the base, no breaks until we get there!"
Hester was still holding her laser pistol, checking for more ghouls and waiting for the adrenaline to wear off. "Are you both alright?" She asked with a slight waver in her voice from behind her filter mask. @Jorimel
The Sergeant returned to the Engineer's side, still sweeping for anything moving. When he didn't see anything, he spoke to Stone. "How're you holding up solider?"@TuskatheDaemonKilla

After patting Arthur on the shoulder in reassurance and motioning Ruby to check Eagle for injuries, Jenkins made to stand by South and Pool. Overhearing their converation about the zombie mutants.
"They were once normal people. No different than you or I. Bad genetics, too much exposure to the right ammount of radiation, or exposed to the FEV, Or a combination of all three. That's the line between them and us. The wasteland is full of feral Ghouls like these. I hear that some still retain their sanity and even some who lived before the bombs fell. Could you imagine living all this time, in a decaying body, your mind slowly going? It's enough to make anyone angry. Pity them, but remember your training. Always shoot first and worry about morals later. Kill or be killed... Come on. Let's get going."

(Minor injuries, all enemies killed, and even some lootable items! Hairbrush, nuka cola bottle cap, pre-war money, a subway token and a gold ring.)

"Like I said Sarge, Muties. I don't pity those who're Muties. Those who've lived among the surface are already irradiated. Impure."

"Regardless of what we think of the Locals we need to be moving out before more of these Things crawl out of their holes. Heard that apparently lots of them are around, nothing but maggot farms."
  7. "Fine sir." Arthor assured the seargant as he wiped a bit of spit from his mouth that managed to escape. He had managed to keep down his lunch but just barely this was his first kill after all. Despite Pool's remarks it looked human enough to Arthor to shake him up. But soon enough the adrenalin kicked in and he was calm enough to start moving agian and he followed the group.

  8. "FLOWERS" Bark's translator went off as he barked excitedly at something. Something that smelled like flowers. How he recognized the scent of flowers was a mystery, but something in his brain recognized the scent as one similar to that of flowers. Bark became so preoccupied with this scent that he forgot about the previous sounds he heard prior. Not that those sounds were recognizable to him. Probably didn't matter anyway. Flower smell became priority.

"SMELL. FLOWERS." the translator squeaked again as he barked to the others to grab their attention, followed by the translator translating as,"BARK BARK BARK BARK BARK"

Pool began monologuing to himself as he started to walk off. Muties always did seem to bring out the worst in him.
"Seriously all these Muties, at least it gives some target practice. Sickening how they keep a human look to them, should have been put down years ago..."

Pool got distracted by B4rk's translator shouting about flowers. If there was some flowers it sure as hell didn't look like there was any around but went over to B4rk to see what had caught his attention.
"Where are the flowers Bark? Can you follow the scent to the flowers? What am I doing, not like he's going to understand me just like when he doesn't understand everything else I tell him to do."

  10. Bark looked over to the one that came over to him, and he continued barking. "FLOWERS. SMELL. FLOWERS."

It wasn't like Bark knew how else to tell someone he smelt something. So he just continued barking. Hopefully someone would come over and have a better idea as to what was going on. "BARK BARK BARK" Bark's head looked and zipped around as he tried to find the source of the smell. Deducing that looking with his eyes might be a way to find a smell. Then again, Bark wasn't know for his intelligence. He was more known for his lack of.
