  1. Smith XV-878 Subordinate

    Name: Brade Kasar

    Gender: Male

    Age: 30

    Appearance: [Link here.]

History: Convicted of smuggling, arson and membership of a criminal organisation when he was seventeen, Brade dodged execution due to the demand for more laborers on the penal world of Salvar. He was not a productive worker, prone as he was to acts of sedition, petty theft and gang violence amongst the inmates, and remained unbroken and impertenent as ever despite increasingly harsh reprimands from the penal overseers.

This made him an ideal candidate for recruitment into the infamous Salvar Chem-Dogs, a penal legion that achieved its notoriety in the brutal underhive combat of the Armageddon wars. Specializing in close-quarters urban combat, driven on by the effects of inhaled combat stimulants, Brade's experience in the brutal underhive of his home world meant that he adapted well to the regiment.

His previous deployment was a skirmish escalating towards war on the fringe worlds near Elysia, battling a growing Ork horde. During a particularly fierce bout of fighting in a besieged factory hive, Brade along with his entire squad were last heard from as they reported an ambush, and after the lack of subsequent communication they were assumed to be lost. Brade, however, returned to the command outpost a week later, with a string of Ork teeth and a helping of the trinkets and requisitioned gear of his squad, which - in Chem-Dogs tradition - he refused to return.

Rather than be re-allocated to another squad within the Chem-Dogs, the loss of Brade's squad happened to coincide with the need for new blood in the Galaspar 205th, and so the hand of fate redirected his deployment there.

That would be nice to see again. all I ever got gor 5 ed was paragraphs. same with the original Space Marine legions. the organizations that started as thunder warriors!

...on second thought, forget that last part. They never existed.

Thunder Warriors are a thing in the lore though, they came before Space Marines and as far as I know they actually were better aside from a shorter lifespan which is why they didn't see much us outside the Sol system I think.

    • That's correct in a way. They were much stronger than astartes but also much more unstable, extremely violent and neatly impossible to control. Badically they were loyalist Khorne Berserkers. That's why the Emperor had them execut...I mean, that's why they died to the last man conquering Terra. The Emperor most certainly did NOT have the Adeptus Castodes round them up and execute them for bring too dangerous to keep around during peacetime. That would be ever so sinister <_<

I almost was going to call in the Commissariat - that would've been borderline Heresy to think he'd waste such glorious resources and execute them. Clearly there was nothing wrong with having such unstable, powerful soldiers to be used as his vanguard.
