Just played after last patch. 900mb of nothing.
Great to see how they are spending cash that left.

Frankly, I've been a 40k fan for the past 15 years. I've spent thousands of dollars on models. I considered Eternal Crusade to be my dream game up until a few months ago, and I raved about how awesome it would be to anyone who would listen.

The reason I stopped considering it my dream game is that features that I considered crucial were cut. Not postponed, cut. And thus it stopped being my dream game and became something I wouldn't even want to buy.

If I cashed out my RDSP and donated every dime I had to Behavior, the amount of cash that EC would get might pay for a single person's salary for one year. That does not seem to be a sufficient investment to make the components that were cut, suddenly become part of the plan again.

Thus, I don't believe that any amount of money I can give, even if I were to cash out my entire retirement account which contains most of my assets, would actually get me my dream game back. So why should I contribute money unless it's for something specific that I actually want?

    No.

Frankly, what they've promised and what they are delivering are two very different things and until those two concepts align, they really shouldn't get anything more than they've already gotten.

If another triple A game tried to up it's cost just before launch, also charged microtransactions and launched with nary half of the stuff promised, it would be rightly panned in reviews. So far, the devs have not given me a reason to think otherwise.

Just for reference, Eternal Crusade has been thoroughly panned in reviews.

Being labelled by reviewers as thoroughly mediocre in every respect is still much better than it could be, though.

It's worth noting I am still playing - especially as the recent patch fixed PvE rewards, which I favour over PvP. So I am willing to give them time to work on it.

Numerous reviewers suggested that people shouldn't buy EC unless they were hardcore 40k fans.

I wouldn't mind putting in more money here and there IF....and this a big if....i saw some serious improvement very quickly.

Fix the damn game.it's a laggy, buggy, unfinished, unoptimized pile that has terrible micro stutters and fps.
Give the factions some semblance of balance
Chill out with the skeezy ass rtc store hijinks.$10 for a helmet for one faction? And even then you have to spend $15 because of the bullshit package prices.you did that on purpose just to nickel and dime.stop it.
    Better servers.do it.
Do more with pve.different modes and maps.(maybe a mode where you have to defend a fortress from a tyranid horde?)
    Better 'nid AI

If i start to see improvement at a steady rate,i'll stick around and drop some coin every now and then.

Better get a move on tho, space hulk deathwing is out next month.......
