If Necrons Are Included, How Would They Work?

We conquered your creators, and you dwindling Eldar, who cover in fear like the children that you are, will soon follow suit with the rest of the galaxy as we restore Order and reclaim what was ours.
Our dominion was wholly intact when we went to sleep, where as what you inherited from us was snuffed out by your own decadence and folly.

I wouldn't know about that, we´re just as terrifying as we were, it's just that there's only one mindless force (Tyranids) rather than two! :D
But yeah... Not all Necron updates were good. I lament the loss of the Pariahs. Though there still are some hints.
But still, the idea of converting other species and pyskers into a new form of Necron was spooky.
It sort of played on the whole Necromancy and Assimilation thing.

No codex of Met Ward please. That's all I want.

Keep in mind, since this is an MMO with a focus on PvP, if you can play as the Necrons, you can play against them. And if 1/2 - 3/4 of the population of the game don't want to play as them, that still leaves them with a sizable population, if the other races populations are mostly balanced.
Have you actually read the codex? As in actually opened it, and read through the fluff? Or are you just following others in blind hatred?

    Yes.
Yup. Replication of Tomb Kings is not need in 41k. Cleaved C'tan? No no nononono...
    Nope. Wait... what's the odds?

I can see a Racial Skill... %chance to revive once incapacitated.
Slower movement speed, higher armor yet a bit less of health.
Powerful weapons to begin with and powerful melee, slow shooting rate.

It could be pretty cool. I wouldn't want them only as NPCs, it'd be interested to see players living up to the Necrons.
Problem being that the majority of people would play Space Marines, so the other races are a bit hurt by that aspect.

So even though Eldar and High Elves are basically the same, Dark Eldar and Dark Elves are basically the same, Empire and IG are very similar, Warrios of Chaos and CSM are basically the same, Orks and Orks and basically the same, Daemons and Darmons are EXACTLY the same, Tomb King aren't allowed to have a futuristic equivelant?

Old Necrons have own unique flavor. Mysterious flavor. Probably the only unique race, in addition to Tau.

GW stated themselves that while there are references and similarities between 40k and Warhammer fantasy, they are, in fact, separate Universes. Just leave it at that

Old Necrons had no substance. They were robots, and the high level ones had very limited sentience. They had no personality, they weren't particularly special. And this is coming from a Necron player, who started last codex.

That is what worries me is the long run of this game. The player base if we have too many playable races the population is going to be split heavily. SM won't ever have that problem, and us Necron players would be out numbered 1 to 100 :\. I also don't think the Nid being there for balance in can handle that huge of a player gap.

So I'll hope this game becomes as big as League of Legends. So I can comfortably roll Necrons and experience conquering an entire planet as Necrons.
