I would like to see a story, or perhaps an Omnibus, about the Abyssal Crusade. Multiple plot lines. The main story, a Chapter who stays loyal and is destroyed, and a Chapter that falls to survive, at least these three, or the latter two.

How about something other than vague hints about what happened to the 2 lost primarchs and their legions (2nd and 11th). I'm as much a fan of a good mystery as the next person, but even so much as a name would be awesome.

Careful with that wish. They are in the Beast arises series pretty heavily and they don't exactly seem to be representing well there.

Didn't read...but The Beast is not 40K book.Isnt that like closer to 30K then to 40K?

When I thought of 40K ideal book I meant more like Forge of Mars omnibus by Graham McNeil.

True. I geuss I just consider all warhammer scifi one big franchise.

I enjoy Imperial Guard book because ones and awhile to see 40k from the average joe's perspective.
