I want to say a word please.

  1. They rarely post statistics, they just say that they do it that way. I do know they had some infographics but I don't know where to find them.
  2. At this point I honestly can't pinpoint why Eldar win so much now, the only thing I see is a difference of teamwork. Eldar swarm, the others sit around doing jack.

Like all issues, it's a combination of things. The eldar benefit from the update due to all the hit detection issues combined with their small hitbox and increased movement speed~which also combines with the current update issues.

Before the update Eldar were doing quite well, but the current update has buffed the Eldar faction along with introducing the Banshee (unrelated).

I always find it odd when people talk about how superior Eldar are to humans. Eldar are superior to base line humans in agility, an immunity to illness and great mental prowess, and that's just about it. They are no more durable or strong than a standard human. They're just tall and pretty space elves with superb agility, and this is shown in game.

On a 1 to 1 basis a Space marine is the superior to an Eldar both in endurance and strength. Even when you have an Eldar who walks the path of the warrior, they do indeed become superb at their aspect, but they hardly over shadow Space marines in any great degree and they are only really good at that one part of war. To be fair to the Eldar and the galaxy in general, it's kind of hard to compete against an engineered murder train created only for war, putting them in power armor and giving them machine guns that spit missiles only makes them more unfair.

Hmm... I best find my Deathwing armor so that I may wither the many violent stares and Shurkians about to be shot my way.

  5. My DA build focused on tankiness, but I have 150 toughness. There must be a +40 toughness item somewhere in the tree. I had to get rid of my heal/ammo pack to use it though.

edit: I was thinking of armor. 150 armor. 110 toughness.

Are you sure that wasn't the reaper? I remember them having a big toughness item last patch.

Just watched 5 orks try and kill one eldar. I hit him with my deffgun, watched him get hit by a few melee, he just kept flipping/running away. All I can say is I'll quit the game if they go in like this and I really dont want to quit.

Edit: Oh, and I should mention that previous to this patch eldar were the class I liked fighting the most as ork because it felt the most even vs the others :/

Well, 5 guys piling in on one guy is actually a really bad way to kill someone. Most of the time, you're just hitting your own dudes in the back, stunning them slightly, so no one ends up actually getting any hits. That, coupled with the target D-bashing and flipping, it wasn't uncommon for that to happen even in previous patches.

The best way to kill a single target is one melee and one ranged. Melee dude keeps him busy while the ranged dude takes potshots at his toes. Guaranteed kill.

Teamwork is definitely part of it, but I really wouldn't call any faction in this game 'well-coordinated', unless there's a whole guild on one team, but then it just gets boring because you've got a bunch of fucks on teamspeak versus a group of pubbies.

Most of the LSM wins I've had were when the match was getting close, and the collective whole of the team realized 'Okay we need to do something to ensure this win.'
Even then 'teamwork' just sort of defaulted to mobbing one point while capping another so we could get more time to win, and to be honest that's sort of how it goes for every faction. Sort of a, 'How well can the mob guide itself?' mentality.

Never seen it happen like that before, especially if I nail the git with a few rounds from my deffgun. I wanted to go full on orky and just gun them all down just to get the one eldar but I managed to resist the urge :D
