Toughness doesn't mean much when you can easily evade and soak up only small amounts of damage. Your agility allows you to dictate engagements far better than us. Then there is also hip firing accuracy and ammo capacity in your weapons, you can put out more consistent damage to our larger hit boxes. What is the Marines advantage in this fight?

I honestly don't like critizing things when I haven't tried them, I've played a decent amount of Eldar and found the experience rather entertaining, if not a little easy to pick slower enemies apart.

I would actually like that. Not to prove you or anyone that I could "do a better job" or anything like that, but because I really think the level of toxicity in these forums is increasing.

As for locking threads, I think giving users warnings when they start bringing poor behaviour to threads, as well as letting people know that Mods do not turn a blind eye to that, would be effective too. You don't have to wait until the thread is filled to the brim with toxic behaviour to act. You can jump in and let people know what you think as opposed to waiting until the thread is too far gone to be saved.

If you don't let people know what you think, people will assume. You can't blame them for assuming the worst about you when their only interaction with you was getting their thread locked. But if you post often and let people know what you think, they'll know whether you're biased or not.

Anyway, I'm just trying to help make sure we can discuss balance without having bad behaviour and thread locking come up. But yeah, I'd totally be down to sign up as a mod. In fact, I'm going to look that up now.

The issue is mobility is a faction trait of the Eldar, and the asymmetrical balance of their faction in EC. Although being able to avoid damage altogether is better than being able to tank damage, I think a durability nerf would fit in gameplaywise and lorewise, as fewer of your shots will hit due to a smaller hitbox and increased movement/strafe speed.

There is a thread with a formula which lets you figure out the mitigation of toughness. Though a difference of 10-15 toughness looks like a big number, it actually mitigates very little. 120 toughness will only provide you with about 6% damage mitigation from the weapon being used against you. If that's a bolt gun. that ends up being about 2-3 damage. Now unless they have changed it, once you get your toughness over 140 that's when you start to feel the effects which LSM cannot as well as Eldar. Now if we throw the speed in there and the tiny hit box, there ability to take same amount of armour/HP as other factions. We get a very quick, tanky, hard to hit, with very powerful weapons race. Where is the downside? each other faction has a downside, eldar currently do not. There toughness is no way a downside as 3 damage makes a very little different, also on top of that take into account how hard they are to hit already!!

Exactly! I'm not talking about taking away the Eldars speed, its interesting mechanic wise and is lore friendly, them having Space marine armor is not.

No matter how hard you nerf us, we'll always have the most skilled playerbase.Being underpowered from the start of our implementation, we adapted, we learned the mechanics in order to have a small chance of winning, and now it's paying off.I've noticed that there's a way better coordination between eldar teammates in contrast to SM and sometimes CSM.SM just come one by one and die, or spam fast attacks and get rekt in melee.I do think the wave serpeant must be nerfed though as it's a tank killer, whereas that role belongs to the falcon.

Remember the time when people were complaining about Eldar not being agile and unique enough? Anyone?
