I'm quite disappointed that Necrons have not been mentioned as a faction given that they are one of the most original races in the W40k universe. Does anyone else want to play them in-game? is it still possible, do you think, to get them included?
You are not alone in your wish for Necrons as a playable faction. And while they definitively will be in the game at some point, there is a slight chance we might get them at launch. For this two conditions must be met, as per Behaviour's statements: - First: the sale of Founder's Packs must be a resounding success, which would enable a 5th faction at launch. - Second: The founder community is probably going to vote on which race will be the 5th faction. At the moment, Tau and Necrons are neck and neck. As you can see, there is hope AND you can make it happen! Become a founder and when/if the time comes - vote for Necrons!

Am I in the minority, in that I much prefer the old necrons (the inevitable result of AI) to the new necrons (tomb-kings based Egyptian style)? T

Necrons are going to be a great race to play as. Sadly my founders vote (if it comes to that) is going to Tau as the 5th faction so, we'll see what happens with the other founders and how well the polls do.
