Sorry, no! This is a team based game...you guys play alone to ask about regen on fatality? Then wait till this gameplay opens to teams that need a medic to work well. Its not so hard....even you Battlefield or Planet Side players should be able to understand in what direction the gameplay is intended to go. But no...lets not think that far. Lets ask for some old single player mechanics to be implemented. Who cares if the whole gameplay and teamplay goes over board.
I would personally prefer no regen shields, MUCH more armor/hp, and the only way to regain health would be support, medkit, or execution.
We again 100 xp for executing someone, this is the same amount as the kill itself, so I wouldn't wan't it go give any special effects. Neither does it really make any sense to regain Health/Armor from it, though I guess the Tyranids would (and Sisters of Battle could "probably" also do this due to their "Faith Powers").
Rip off Space Marine?!? Heresy. Most of us had an image in our minds when the title was annouced all those years ago of Space Marine the MMORPG. So I wouldn't worry about bringing some of the ideas from space marine back. I like the executions as they are at the moment, I would just like to be able to cancel the bloody animation if I'm getting attacked.
BHVR is allowed to rip off from Space Marine and Warhammer: Dark Milleneum. They're even allowed to use content from the game but they haven't due to some huge pain in the ass content conversion problems from the heavily modified Essence 2.0 engine to Unreal 4 engine.
I dident say it was bad to rip off space marine. And to the guy who said no this is a team game, I dont think so. They cater to the masses if they want money. And teams are not masses.
Space Marine as an mmo? Do you mean Dark Millenium? As far as I know, that was the only 40k game ever announced to be an mmo. And they downgraded it to single player before THQ went under and the whole thing got scrapped.
