Toughness doesn't mean armor. It never did. Toughness, even on the TT, refers to a units ability to shake off damage that penetrates it armor. Orks have a higher toughness than LSM and CSM. LSM and CSM have better armor. Which is accurately portrayed now. EDIT: Also, the Sorc isn't nerfed to oblivion. Do your job and stay off the front line and keep the folks around you alive. Their job is to make damn sure you don't die, otherwise they have no healer. You've become a much greater asset to them and one that requires them to stick with you as much as possible to make sure that when the shit hits the fan, you're there to bring them back from the brink.
I really hope these changes don't go live. I'll find myself on another sabbatical. It's hard enough loading out a support character without having to somehow build up from 25 armor so you don't get insta-gibbed every time you spawn in.
too much armour for orks, better same buff for health, than its will be look more logically If someone remember, Relics did a gret patch, where maded simple orkish choppa with power weapon stats...its was a massacre for sm
Did you notice that the Mark of Tzeentch is almost completely useless on the Aspiring Sorcerer now? As you sacrifice 30 HP to get a better Armor Regeneration Delay which is kinda useless when you only have 25 Armor. So much for Tzeentch being the "Chaos God of Psykers"
Combi-/stormbolter was 1.5 degree spread before, same as TLASC. Just so everyone knows it didn't actually receive a nerf.
Their armor is abysmal. They have a SHITLOAD of health for base stats. I'm not sure what you're talking about.
Did hipfire on ASC and TLSC get better though? It at least feels like it. So much for "stand still and aim"
So, then the stats were reading wrong before. Because before it said Spread was 1 degree for SB and 2 for Bolter. Which, if the stats were just entered in wrong on the description, that would make sense. However, if that isn't the case it would be a nerf of .5 degrees.
I understand. But, consider that armor and armor regen are easier to stack than health for the Sorc. No matter how much health you give your Sorc he's never going to have enough to be viable. You'll also have to waste all your slots to give a minor increase. I'd rather have more armor and have it regen faster to go with my self-healing. That way, if I need to duck out I can and heal up while my armor regenerates.
Some pretty strong changes to things here. Will be interesting to see the effect it has on the playerbase. Also I am literally drooling in anticipation of Thraxus's "Melee is now dead forever" threads.
