I just looked at a lot of the UAT changes.

Warlocks have it the same :(

And do they have increased agility? Or apothecaries for that matter as they share armor.

    No? I thought not.
So we're left with "lazy, uninformed game design"

The nerf to supports was a bit to hard and funnily enough the LSM and CSM lost their +20 Armor when compared to the Orkz, who got to keep their +25 HP...

They seems to have removed the Dark Reaper from the game :(
Well, it is not like anyone use that class before anyway, sake for the occasional fun with the Tempest Launcher or taking out Turret with the Starshot Missiles (which are still going to get a nerf).

They kinda forgot go give the Eldar Ground Assaults (Striking Scorpion and Howling Banshee) the "Survivability Buff" the other Factions' Ground Assaults got, so I hope they give them the +50 Armor when compared to the "Tacticals" though I don't expect it.

But at least it is not like Eldar will be raped by OHK kills from Power Attacks or Fast Attacks with a Power Fist or Headshots from an Autocannon. I am certain the lack of HP won't make us be insta gibbed by Poison either :D

The only good thing from this is that the Eldar will get a massive amount of losses which means I might get to see the Fire Pike sooner, because the most loosing Faction gets new Weapons!

Btw: If any of you guys wan't to kill one of the rare Dark Reapers or Striking Scorpions, then you need to do so before the next update makes them go extinct :p

EDIT: Lets rename Eldar to "Deadar" :D

In case you haven't noticed, jump assaults have a giant jump pack on them, but still manage to be as agile as a normal marine. To see how MK 7 Armour weighted down with equipment that heavy performs, run around with a devastator and try dodging/climbing.

Then there is that whole "flying through the air" thing. Lets not forget that.

The apothcary change cannot be justified by the fluff, but the jump assault armor change most certainly can.

Glad our Slugga Boyz got a buff, more lore appropriate now. I'm looking forward to everything else coming next week now. Tzeentch has heard the prayers of the Chaos Marines and has decided MUTATION IS REQUIRED OF THIS GAME!

They aren't as agile, they're slower and have to use their jump pack to mantle things and dodge.

    "Literally flies"

    "Isn't as agile"

Pick one. You can't have both.

Flight =/= agility. That's not how it works.

Having gone in and played with literally all of the classes/vet classes for Chaos. I welcome this patch. It finally forces players to play their roles and get good at them. No longer will every class be a jack-of-all trades. Penetration will actually have a place now and create a real difference between chainsword/axe and powersword/axe making one better suited for heavier targets than the other.

Ground assault is a fucking beefcake especially if you're build a Khorne Berserker, like I did. Well over 200 HP and Toughness with over 300 Armor and lifesteal for the Vet GA with that build. They have the staying power now to reap havoc on the front lines with devastating damage that doesn't fizzle out in a few shots.

Supports and JPA will actually have to play the way they are meant to be played using hit-and-run tactics to keep from getting caught out and torn asunder by incoming fire. Gone are the days of unkillable supports who rush in and mow down front liners with a combination of tankiness and powerful selfhealing. JPA (My fellow Raptor brethren) you're gunna actually have to pick and choose your targets or simply disrupt heavily held areas, which was our job from the get go.

Traitors got nicely balanced, I feel. You're tough enough to march into an objective and not die instantly without being so difficult to bring down that you make capping objs a 1-man job. Also, Bolter got buffed!!! Yay for the Bolter. Minor buff, less spread making it much more accurate and thus increasing numbers of shots that actually hit the target. Stormbolter got a nerf to it's accuracy making it 1.5 degree spread instead of 1. Let's face it, it makes sense.

Havocs, prepare yourselves. You're going to have to be really picky about how you play, especially once heavy weapon mods finally come out. Because of the nerf to toughness you are overall easier to kill. But, fear not. With Nurgle you can be a beefcake almost on par with Ground Assault in defenses. However, you will have to sacrifice some umph in your shots to make this happen. Pick wisely. Good sustainable damage or survivability. You can't really have both.

All in all, from what I have seen this seems like a step in the right direction. It forces people to weigh their options and play accordingly. One build doesn't fit all and there will be incredibly wide ranges of builds due to balancing offense with defense.

I love it how Orks with T-Shirt saves and the same toughness as marines, get to have more armor, and more health.

    Super accurate statlining.

A bolter round, doesn't give a shit of what the ork is wearing, until you buy him some better armor.
But baseline, you are counting it as a power armor.

Nerfing supports is a good way of making people stop playing support.
This game will be renamed, The wonderous tales of Bob the Tatical, and His compannion Douche the JPA :D

    Next game plose.
And thanks for nerfing sorcerers to oblivion.

There will be a new class rearranging.

    Heavy supports, are now support

Support classes, are renamed, Need support. ( just to stay alive )
