There's a lot of classes you're going to be able to oneshot with a power fist fast attack. Most of the eldar presets, and the JPA/raptor preset would each get oneshot by a power fist.
If Lascannons were full auto would that be balanced? That's the big deal, AC is a 1 shot kill without any charge time at all, except for the setup time.
Do you people actually listen when they talk on twitch? Brent said this is gonna be on UAT for 2 weeks or so...he also stated that we shouldnt worry about weird stats like power swords with 110 pen only etc....he also said that he and michael chan will be messing with ttk etc stop acting like this is going live tomorrow

The deal as it were is TTK. Even though the reaper launcher and lascannon/zzap deffgun, their charge up time combined with an imposed difficulty (travel time and lock-on) makes them harder to use and not immediately dangerous in a firefight. The AC, being able to OHK from headshot (which is a lot easier to do either first shot or braced) doesn't have that imposed TTK. I'm on neither side of balanced/unbalanced, but that's the difference between the two groups. There is a windup period on the AC when caught in the open, but whether that's enough obviously is a thing of controversy. Let us all remember our friends plasma cannon and rokkit launcha, who gave their lives that blind unaware players charging through chokepoints could make it into melee. And let us not forget dear Tempest Launcher, whose eventually fix from Gets Hot! will make all other factions call foul, and they most likely will be correct.
