So people on UAT, how has TTK been handling since the change, with wargear included? Everything leads me to believe it's going to be significantly reduced, which can't be a good thing. Also curious how New players are going to fare in this "New and improved" setting without access to all the high-end gear that makes you stronger than a wet tissue paper. Has the Advancement tree changed? Are all Eldar players screwed until they get their Rank 4 armor? lol
Advancement tree is the same still. If it doesn't change then yes, Eldar players are screwed until they get their gold armour. If things remain as is, the power creep is real. And new players will be so much weaker than a veteran player.
God it's tempting to download UAT just to see if it's as awful as everyone says To the above posts - they have said the tree will be getting revamped when the preset classes go(, along with LP alterations to power weapons, changes to pen/tough system and other stuff I can't remember) I'm pretty sure all their planned tweaks need to be seen together before we all lose our minds over the first steps. Though these do seem like the ministry of funny walks first steps! They say the line between genius and madness is quite fine; fingers crossed then eh
It also annoys the hell out of me how Brent made it sound like we were going to be able to choose to make a toughness build, but it caps out at 130 for Space Marines and 155 for Orks. 15 toughness isn't even going to affect HTK with a basic power sword. Pointless. Not to mention basic 100 penetration with all weapons is going to make toughness stacking less meaningful than before. No one said they were going to get buffed, where did you get this Unless you mean the penetration buff up to 100 that all weapons get in UAT.
Lol I can't even find anyone to play against. I got in a match that ended up being a 1v1, the LSM chose a ground assault and then ragequit after I killed him once Next match I was alone
Yeah can't get into matches to test. Made 2 loadouts for each class (3 for shootas) and almost 1 elite for some proper "Sciencing" but alas, no one to science with.
