I just looked at a lot of the UAT changes.

Unless Sorcs and Warlocks are getting better offensive spells, this is going to be cancer.

They need to stop forcing team play down everyone's throats and just let people fight how they want (mostly). Currently caster offensive spells are awful in this game. Daemon bolt is soooooooo slow, stream of corruption takes YEARS to kill someone, flickering fire misses 90% of the time and the -15% hp is not worth it.

Warlock only gets destructor which sucks but warlocks mostly got buff spells in the first place according to rules. Some other buff spells would be nice to enhance himself + squad mates.

I just don't like how they try and MAKE you play as a team when it would just occur naturally if we could play and enjoy our class without getting gimicked. Now supports are going to be lack lustre with no offensive capability unless they secretly have new spells hiding. :|

Also starting with the fact they are reducing sorcerer melee capability...When they are meant to excel at it. The same way or even more than a wolf priest. Are they nerfing wolf priest and warlock melee too?

Also, if supports have less armor...and are melee equipped....why would you go into combat if you are the ugly duck in the pond?

Hi i'm ranged, i'll take this bolter. Thanx
Hi i'm melee, i'll take the power weapons and amor, because the armor i have that is exactly the same as the other...has more armor.
Hi i'm support....shush...take this pistol...give back your armor and take this dress. Now go back to the end of the line. Oh take some powers with shiny effects. you can conjure daemon Balls, burn, poison your opponets, or lash them with a whip.

I can't believe this needs to be explained, but here goes.

All marines are frontline warriors. Yes, Apothecaries belong on the front line kicking asses in between doing their healing duties, and the aptly named ASSAULT MARINES belong precisely nowhere but in the thickest, heaviest fighting. They aren't flankers and disruptors, you stupid git, they are meant to be the toughest and most dangerous fighters short of terminators in the SM army.

Nerfing marine surviability (including CSM, not playing favorites) is just stupid, they should be the toughest doods around. Orks are tough, but an ork ain't shit compared to a marine in terms of soaking punishment.

Your idea of 40k is wrong, your idea of class roles is wrong. Next time think before posting.

You are aware that this is a game correct? And as such there does need to be a high degree of balance that is not present within the Lore of 40k.
So, how about chilling down a bit?

If we don't make noise to the contrary, these changes will go live. The game can be balanced without resorting to this foolishness. It's more balanced now than ever(with a few outliers, Support characters being decently protected not being one of them)

I wonder how Eldar will push without any decently tough classes...
Our Ground Assaults ae designed to either flank or be used for defense, our Support is not a front line combatant in EC (even though they are on the TT and in the lore), our DA needs to rely on cover or flaking too, the Hawks are for harassing (which is fine) and our Dark Reaper is just a nerfed Devastator/Havoc/Loota Lad.

I know, I know, we need to "flank", but how the heck are we supposed to "flank" if we do not have a front line?
The whole purpose of a "flaking maneuver" is to attack from another side when the enemy is otherwise occupied, but if we can't somehow occupy them then we can't really flank effectively (as they can just turn around).
Just look at how the "flanking" goes for the Falcon, as it is supposed to win Tank vs Tank when it flanks...
Also, using hit-and-run tactics won't push people of a point, nor will it work against enemies who can regenerate their lost HP and/or Armor between the attacks.
I guess there is a reason we have to actively apply for Grand Battles now :D

In any case, the Eldar will be an insanely hard Faction to play for beginners and PuGs will be unable to win, simply due to even semi-"advanced" maneuvers being near impossible to pull in random battle (e.g. "flanking").
Also, since Eldar will now be OHK'ed by a Power Attack in Melee or a Fast Attack from a Power Fist, then the newbies most certainly can't use melee classes as Eldar anymore, as even a single mistake will turn you into a deadar.

    *Sigh*
I actually like that they were trying to go a bit away from all the one hit kills, but alas, the Devs does not.

They are nerfing both Warlocks and Aspiring Sorcerers melee capabilities, that was always the plan.
No word on Apothecaries (chainsword) or Wolf Priest (Power Maul).
I bloody hope they nerf the Apothecary's Bolter to kingdom come too or else they will be even more powerful than they are now, and we even worked so damned hard to make them remove the "Apothecarian Bolter" in the first place :(

Sorcerers and Warlock are frontline units too, just saying.

Well then, how about you make noise in a more polite manner rather than just trying to shit on the guy?
I mean, you tend to get better results that way, just saying.

Not saying I don't agree with certain points you have either.

I'll give my report of playing support.

Sorcerer, Leading my squad. Healing, helping melee fights. standing my ground on a 1v1. And getting those melee kills like anyone who has a power axe, and can play melee.
Apothecary: Shooting at targets, getting some ranged killing done. checking flanks, healing friendlys, assisting melee with stun or interrupts.

    Team play: Yes

    Suggested support changes.

Sorcerer: Ima stay right here or i'll die! i have to look around for enemies, because they all know i'm the easy kill here.
Apothecary: Ima stay behind conver, look for targets of oppurtunity, and heal at range with my grenade. Pray i don't get ganked, or get into any 1v1

    Team Play: Nope
    Support fail: Yes

I always knew GA needed a bit more armor cus oh how much I died on average for what I was suppose to do. Still I kept playing GA over and over and over. Now I get to see the fruits of my labor! Prepare to be Fisted for Slaneesh!!

EDIT: Although I'm curious to see if they gave them too much. I'll have to try it out to see
