I just looked at a lot of the UAT changes.

    Healers can self-recover their HP faster than armor, so I'm not sure about that fact :)

    BTW: What do you think about buff GA? I happy about this, but i'm afraid, what we can wait for GA spam and throwing all another into oblivion.

    They never said you would be able to run a Sorcerer/Warlock without having a Heal, but they will make you able to run without a Pistol.
    Even without the Pistol you would still have to use 100 LP on the cheapest heal, which is 100 LP you can't use on anything else.

    I really don't know which 40k universe you heard about, where Boyz have more toughness than a Spezemarine....And the same armor... as a Spezemarine baseline.
    Even in TT, marines are T4 armor +3 armor, Vs Boyz T4 +6 armor.
    These are Boyz...not Nobz

    Also...Aspiring sorcerers, are no way in hell....meant to be in the back lines...They are squad leaders. They don't support from the back...Tsc tsc, they take the squad, and carry it with prowess. They aren't weakling imperial guard psykers...

    "Here take this pistol, and this sword. Stay in the back, support your team nub" - Force Commander noone, chapter none, year never.

    Everything Psyker related, is a force to be feared by the powers alone, even more so, if they have a power armor and force weapon.

    How can you effectively support your team, if your healing abilitys, are not enough to keep up with the dmg...and you are now a melee combat wuss, and also the easyest member to kill in your squad...

    I would hope they buff healing xp considering you won't be doing much else anymore with them. The best part is their only defense is melee cept the apoth but still makes them going chainsword useless.

    Hey guys, remember this is first step, it's not going to go live tomorrow. They want feedback, not complaining. Let them know how and why things should be changed, but doomsaying does no one any good.

    I, for one, am glad they're trying to make the game better, more defined classes roles and more choices in gear. It is very stagnant atm. Help them refine it.

    I don't know what to be certain of, honestly. I think it will actually encourage ranged play as there will be fewer JPA/equivalents and supports will need to hold back since they're no longer frontline combatants. This will have mixed pros and cons for all factions; sorceror is going to suck due to horrible ranged options, apothecary will shine due to bolter still being good, painboy...probably okay, Eldar will have to learn they're not Marines-but-faster. A dedicated push of GA's is likely to be terrifying due to their tankiness relative to everyone else, but time alone will tell.

    Noone is doomsaying. The complaints already prior to live edition, are made on somethings that is already so far fetched, and so sensless that is already a bad idea from the start. Also knowing how this "balance process" works, and how it has been for some time.

    IMO, one point that is crucial. you can't make all classes that have the same armor from start, have different armor values with no compensations. Why should an aspiring sorcerer/apothecary, with the same power armor as a tatical or a ground assault, have less armor from the start?

    Defining better the class roles, does not involve ruining the class to a role that can't be fitted in the field of battle.

    honestly think that if you can't work on balance, without tearing the classes to the drawing board, how can you expect to create "new defined roles" without un balancing everything all over again?

    That's not lore appropriate you clown. Have you even read any of the lore.

    Slugga boys die by the handfuls every single turn in tabletop games. The books are the same. Thousands of orks die per space marine. Slugga boys are nothing more than cannon fodder. They are infamous for their 6+ "T shirt" armor saves.

    Except for me, since I have several hundred hours logged into slugga boy. I am going to own all of you and make you all cry until you eat these words if these changes go live.

    Wait, lol. Now I get why you like this patch so much.

    lol....even the veteran has less stats than the basic sorc on live.

    Why would everyone not spam ground assaults, that is the question.

    This is so stupid lol.

    Yeah. All classes are now dedicated trash except for ground assault.

    Get rid of all of these changes is my advice. Put this on live and you will never hear the end of the complaining, so if that's their objective no dice on that front.

    All they needed to do was fix obvious stuff like Iron Halo pricing and maybe increase the price of Power Weapons by 50 points or something. This is just...what?

    Where did any of this garbage even come from?
