Yeah, this conversation is definitely getting awkward. I mean, if you've read GW's statements to their investors, you know that their entire business model is a deliberate and protracted gouging of its most enthusiastic customers. They are very proud of their profit margin and make no real attempt to conceal how absurdly wide it is. From a corporate (read: antisocial) perspective, the entire point of developing an intellectual property in the first place is so you can play upon peoples' loyalty to widen your profit margin.
lmao indeed...indeed ponzi is a criminal, but there are people out there, that got more money than sense. Criminally stupid if you will...
OUR goal is to avoid this kind of Founder's, and it's YOUR guys' feedback that's helping shape it! Rest assured, we've heard your voices and are doing what we can to AVOID making the same type of decisions!
This has probably already been pointed out, but with the ponyfags infesting the Internet and Hasbro fucking encouraging the stupid proto-pedophiles, I think we can all agree that Hasbro is evil and deserves nothing short of complete and utter extermination.
I am referring to the 6 founder items (1 vehicle, 2 heroes, 2 armors, and 1 melee weapon) per faction that are currently available in the Rogue Trader store, before they add anything in the next 18 months.
internet now is full of comment that laugh about the EC founder pack prices 450$ and the 35$ HH weapons
As a man who was born in the late 80's and watched the first transformers series on TV i can honestly tell you Transformers has a massive fanbase and you would be surprised what some people will do to boast how loyal they are to the franchise including dropping over £200 on a founders program. As a Transformers fan im not even bothering with this browser game because it is not something i would invest in for various reasons, Now im also a Star Trek fan (Trekker not Trekky tyvm) dropped over £300 on multiple copies of the limited edition from different sources to get ALL of the collectible founders starter items that were advertised as never to be available again, Ontop of that i bought the £250 Lifetime sub for it aswell. You can imagine my mood when Cryptic fucked me and the rest of the loyal fans when they pushed it out the door after a week of closed beta and half the mechanics they promised to be in come release were nowhere to be found and its backed by the company who owns the rights to Star Trek so every shit move they pull in that game it becomes Canon. I can honestly say i felt ill for awhile spending that amount of cash on an empty promise, Im hoping BE with thier transparency initiative will be more forthcoming with what is going to be available come release, promises made during these next 18 months will be honored and the money spent concerning Founders will be ready and available come release day.
