Well you got ur grav gun. We got our ..uhm chain axe,,, vroom vroom .. Tbh the chain axe has been growing on me lately it can pretty much 2 hit a spaz marine if you can get behind em with the thing.. The only thing that bothers me really is that servo skull. i feel our chaos sors variation ist as effective in its application as that thing is. Outside of this i feel most matches i play vs LSM as CSM are pretty balanced.. gear wize.. at least. We both have our tools to accomplish things . LSM's tools are only a bid more ..visual.. like you see the grav guns you see the shields .. CSM's stuff is like these almost unnoticeable little things like extra move speed or fat nurgle toughness that you dont really see with ur eyeballs but it does do something in the background somehow. Also about that 6% banner thing some dude was on about,I just use the nurgle or slaanesh banner. extra mitigation or accuracy since I, 1) dont have the 6% banner unlocked yet -_- and 2) even if i did MoT on a non vet sors reallllllly sucks if you ask me.. ppl so much as look at you vaguely and ur death >.< Especially with the MoN being so popular among CSM now the nurgle one seems to do pretty good on defence.
Better to not care about winning or losing, because at the end of every match, I get to see the chest pumpers and whiny whoopy cushions talk smack like it was a life threatening arguement, it's so funny to me.
If you think the Stalker can command whole areas of the battlefield and rinse whole groups of troopers in seconds like the AC can you are sorely mistaken. The AC commands the space/approaches like nothing else (bar Ace Dakka which is as bad). The Stalker is best used as a counter to AC users which is very helpful but in nearly every other situation a bolter is just better. Look at SM teams, how many Stalkers do you actually see?
But AC spam barely happens anymore, which is not to say Chaos doesn't have nice things(It does.) but in the current meta you want two heavy bolters for every one autocannon. Suppression is king, AC's are for extra punch when retaliation isn't a possibility, which often means they don't appear at all in many matches each day. It's a niche weapon essentially.
Unfortunately I have to side with the heretical shitstains on this one, AC's no longer as prevalent as it used to be. Either its been nerfed into uselessness(which has probably been the case for quite some time), or the other factions have finally decided to start using their suppression weapons again. Or both.
