Should the first amendment be respected on website?

  1. No, cause feelings are more important than rights

I agree with what you say about bitches who do nothing but complain and do the constant "this game is gonna fail 100%" bullshit, the same people who said "WoW is dead" before Legion. But the US constitution ONLY protects you from the government, not a third party website. At the same time, criticism and parodies are protected by federal law in some/most cases but probably not in this case since your posting it on THEIR website (although it is in poor taste to delete criticism that isn't just shitposting but from what I'm seeing in the forums the devs don't delete criticism). I believe that the first amendment is a human right that everyone deserves not just Americans but you can't save everyone from censorship especially on the internet.

This game is still the developmental dream I believe in just now my character progress won't get wiped, which is what I'm sure they intended by "full release". Ya'll bought founders packs never knowing when release would be and know you are complaining that your character progress wont get wiped every patch allowing you to experience the entirety of the game's current state. We need criticism to help the devs develop the game, not make their days shittier. To me it's not fair to ask for a refund because you bought a founders pack signing off that you never would know the release date so they could've continued with the monthly character wipe and patches till 2017 and all of you would never complain. Ye whom have little faith please leave without making a big shitshow and ruining everyone else's experience.

    No one...

Hmmm.,.. the famous internet 'no one'.

Maybe you SHOULD try to read a few things other than comic books or porn magazines once in a while. I know the pictures are pretty, but the words are what make most stories good. You might miss a few things. Like oh, laws that will get you in trouble.

Oh and I am sure Fearless Leader is finishing writing his work 'My Struggle' as we speak. (He apes everything ELSE about the man, why not THAT too?) So when what is coming happens, don't come crying to anyone else. You brought it on yourselves. Then again, wars make money and that is what he does, so... *shrug*

And Orks are ONLY best when lightly roasted with plenty of promethium gravy.

CAN YOU DECIDE?! Either have this thread be about the fact that EC is by technicality in Beta (And all of us already know, even the haters, that it improved over the years since it's obvious!), make this thread about America and whatever it was anymore OR just fuck off.

Don't worry, it's about extremes. If you say SOME people are bad, everybody will think nobody is bad, if you say ALL people are bad, you prevent them from doing their mental gymnastics to exclude themselves from things. I mean it doesn't really matter here, but it is something to keep in mind when bundling people under a category. There are always exceptions, and they should remain exceptions.

Sorry for condensing it, but you and I are of the same mind for this moment.

As Gork or Mork would say, "Keep it TV-Y7!"

Someone earlier argued in my previous thread about this. I told him that this and all of warhammer & 40k isn't mainstream, it just isn't. People have taken ideas and concepts from it and in turn made popular things.

He told me, "THEY HAD [obscure product] GET 1 MILLION IN SALES!"
Since the thread closed I couldn't actually respond to him directly nor do I care to remember his exact words.

1 million is an incredibly small number in the perspective of like call of duty hitting over 20 million or like world of warcraft hitting like 100 million (That is an exaggeration). The old norm of videogames used to be a big deal if they ever hit 1 million sales. Past 2005 though, games have become mainstream and what used to be common to get 500k sales now became 1 million, and now businesses today expect every game to hit 10 million in sales on average (which they don't and probably never do).

That is why you see a lot of them blaming piracy and other things, because when investors and such come in and ask, "WHY DIDN'T YOU HIT THOSE OUTRAGEOUS AND RIDICULOUS DIGITS YOU CLAIMED YOU WOULD?!" and then they'd have their scapegoat. This is another thing entirely and I don't want to get too deep into it. There are a lot of factors, but it mainly has to do with greedy people being very detached.

The main point is that, this game isn't mainstream, probably never will be, BUT it fills a niche and if it does that niche well enough it will bring people to it just like bad games have people all over them since they are the only games that do what they do.

Nobody is bad. Nobody is good. Everyone is shades of grey. I know. But GEEZ some people make me think otherwise.

You are right. 40k is a niche market. It is a small but VERY passionate group who play the game especially with GW's... um... interesting business practices of late. We are fans, with all the proper connotations of the word 'fanatic'.

We feel very strongly and we know what we want, even if we are not entirely sure what that is.

I want to discuss this game, I however realized to get everyone actively talking is to make things entertaining while at it. You can't all be here reading this thread as it develops (including the moderator) and not tell me you aren't having some entertainment from it.

However if there was a way to condense people's actual complaints and criticisms of the game without it getting drowned out by the many petty complaints. That would be wonderful, and probably what I would actually like to accomplish. Currently it is a mixed bag though...

WE BOTH SHARE A STRONG PASSION
IT IS WHAT WE EXIST FOR

Like I've said from the beginning, it is alright to be angry. It generally means you care A LOT about something (or you wouldn't care at all). Like how Gordan Ramsay is an angry chef, but that is because he takes cooking seriously and cares A LOT about it.

You need people to care and criticize things or else things can get bad without it, but you can't have the garbage kind of anger that is like a spoiled child being mad about nothing at all.

Hey, proper trolling is an ART form. Let NO ONE say otherwise.

Any moron can troll. But getting people to respond?

Or getting people to *GASP!* THINK?

True, but a very thin line there.

That is my point as well. Maybe I didn't state it properly.
