I dunno, Dere was only free ov us in a mjaority pug game and we'z won two? It was close, and we went on AV duty but still. I think if anything it's games that start off with more marines than orks. If your lucky it's only one or two, if your not it's like five or six and there's little you can do against that anyway since that's basically another squad you have to deal with and if they attack each point It's going to be two/three orks vs five marines.
Just been playing as Orks and yeah, your Newfriends are bad. But so are the other faction's Newfriends. Zero vehicle control over all factions at the moment and as we know that's insta-lose. "How do I heal?" being asked in the chat. Common problems for all the races. Time is the only answer. They'll work it out in the end. Try and lead and help. Point them towards guilds. Standard new player stuff.
Honestly the influx of new gitz has left a lot of experienced players on all factions floundering a bit (not to mention more salty). I see this as an opportunity for the experienced players to learn leadership skills and maybe draw new recruits into the guilds. Gonna be annoying for a bit though.
Jus' let da yoofs get on wivvit. Dey'll 'opefully see wot uver boyz is doin' an' follow da leed. If they'z don't well- They'z be a discracshun while i sneak up on 'em an' dakka 'em right good in the back. They're armored back dere ya know. Almos' like der expektin it. SM's and Orks can at least heal using a controller now at least. When i was just LSM and CSM when i started i couldn't heal as an Apoth. I can as a Painboy and da boyz feelz it! I fink. Do, i didn't go sayin' dey liked 'ow it felt. Like wen i swopped to sicky bombs for a bit, an' kept tryin' ta use 'em like dok bombs. Do, i didn't manage to kill anywun on our side but meself. An' if i did i got 'em right back in da fight! I've been CSM'ing for abit and damn. I've seen people killing each other. I dbashed someone because they shot me almost to death (I was only rescued by a Sorc) Only for him to turn around and finish the job. I've seen a heavy bolter havoc pushing a Lascannon guy out of the way with melee to shoot. (It was an AV spot.) And a brawl started with someone (I think the guy who killed me) downed them. Though i could only rescue one of them. I've Dbashed a couple orks in the same situation as the former and they've never turned around and actually killed me? I did have a autocannon guy behind me in the right hand pipes of one of the fortresses. (The first one- Hakkon?) I was in front of him trying to clear the point and he kept shooting me in the back of the head. I think he downed me like three times and i turned around and Dbashed him. Then i got salt because -i- should have moved, when he could quite easily have just moved to the side, or wait until i ducked back in to start shooting. Though, this was before the sale. at least when orks TK we apologize. (Though for the most part, it is because of weapon accuracy.) we don't go out of our way to do it from what I've experienced. There was also that game when i was on my eldar and we had a fire dragon running around and fusion gunning our own guys. Out of curiocity, How many unforgiven TK's do you have to do before you get kicked?
Orks are probably the 2nd strongest faction, behind LSM. However the playerbase of both factions leaves much to be desired. Every now and then you'll see an Ork who gets it and easily gets 20+ kills/match.
or having to deal with a certain SM player that uses up all Rhino spawns by driving them all to out of bound areas and suicides them
Most of the new orkz don't seem big on forgiveness right now, so I think I'm going to stop picking up and healing people until they do.
