I don't think I can do it anymore.

I don't think I can do it anymore ladz.

Ork pugs are just abysmal right now. It seems like we've won one round out of the last twenty or so I've played.
And it's not even faction or weapon imbalance that is getting to me or even the omnipresent lag that is bringing me down.
It's the fact that it feels like over half of the Ork player base is just really, REALLY bad.

I'm talking half of the scoreboard can barely break 2k points per game levels of bad. It's not an uncommon sight in a pug to see that the highest Ork player is 2k to the Marine's 6-8k.
That Orks can't even win as attackers on Maggon or Zedek in the new patch levels of bad.
That people keep telling other players to abandon uncapped points as defenders even though other players are detailing how the cap time mechanic works in chat levels of bad.
And that's not even getting into the fact that there's like 5 times more premades for each of the other factions (other than maybe Eldar) to the Orks... one?

The fact that there is barely a tutorial detailing the cap system in place at this point in the game's life cycle is honestly kind of shameful.
Especially since it is so different from your usual area cap system from many other games.

I bought this game to play as Orks but recently it's just been a slog.
The World Map must be lying or bugged out for me if it keeps showing up as 50-50 because that is not the case from my experience.

I have a hard time with their sluggish mobility. Our dodge, dbash, and turning while running are just not tight enough.

Outside that I agree that many teams now are kinda meh. Often I find myself being one of maybe two people on a team of twenty even attempting to kill enemy transports.

That and too many people are using melee in scenarios when we need more dakka. I dont think I ever see any lootas set up in rooms and provide cover fire or area denial. However I see tons of people trying to use dakka deffguns as OFFENSIVE weapons. Come on guys use the stuff for its intended purposes.

Give em Grotz time. I myself am quite happy to see this as it means fresh blood - important for the experienced Nobz is to guide the Waaagh so the Boyz can learn.
  4. 1. Join DLB we win 90% matches
    2. Having a hard time with headless chickens ? Why not make a video or guide and share it (I did)
    3. Follow my Anti vehicle guide , you will get 5k + per match if played right
    4. If you follow point 3 usually it will be enough to allow the pugs to win

Jus' want to add, it helps to stand a bit back from the vehicle before throwing the Tankbusta bomb. Because then it'd get some travel time, and a much better chance to stick onto the vehicle, rather than the ground.

Nice to see a video from a Brit for a change!
Personally I prefer to use da klaw for A/V but obviously it struggles against wave serpents.

The state of our PUGs is quite abysmal at the minute but it'll get better. Just enjoy the brutal combat and try not to worry about the objectives that are getting ignored.

    The most annoying things for me are as follows;

Rarely are objectives marked by leaders.
Squads of multiple one man teams burning through transports.
No marking of vehicles or enemies.
    No picking up downed lads.
    Much, much more TKin.

  9. I posted this a few days ago. I played 2 hours with Orks and we didn't win one single match. That was so frustrating.

Imho the problem is playing as Orks require a good amount of coordination: we have no flying tanks to farm roadkills, no pre-set anti tank loadouts, no Plasma Cannon, No Autocannon. WAAAGH is a problem in defensive maps as it burns our tickets and when fights start we're often outnumbered.

But we have some strong points. The problem is we lack VOIP to coordinate with noobs, and our weapons require some practice to handle the Cone of Fire. When squads stick to their Squad Leader and we use our gear wisely we can win.
