I wouldn't be surprised. The only worthwhile mode is Starshot, and even then you have to be at long range. Starswarm is just...Crap.

Starswarm is very bad, and it definitely needs an accuracy buff if nothing else. On the plus it is something unexpected that rushing enemies don't expect, and I've made kills with it (albeit less than I used to).

Nope. Just like how many people still dont know hitting X changes fire modes on guns.

The video is from August so it isn't even close to being up to date, but the Starshot Missile is still rather close to how it is now.

And yes, there should be an ingame tip saying "This weapon got an Alternative Fire-Mode."
Actually, the Alt-Fire should be explained in the Loadout Screen when you "click" on the Weapon, either in the description or underneath the "stats".

Ever play evolve? They had tutorial videos during load ups. Thats what dvery game should have imo.

I never got around to play Evolve, but sounds like a fine solution, though I personally prefer the more classic tutorial.

I am starting to wonder how many people there are who have stopped playing simply due to them not knowing how the game works, partially due to the lack of a tutorial of any kind.
It doesn't help that there are no mention of how to swap fire-modes on weapon, or that they are even there at all, and to this day I still see Dark Reaper using Starswarm to take out vehicles (TotalBiscuit, iirc, didn't know about Alt-Fire and even complained about how terrible the Reaper Launcher was against vehicles).
