If you zoom in with the reaper launcher and shoot AV missles you can guide them by moving the mouse crosshair while zoomed! Make sure to let go of the m1 button though because if you rapid fire them you cant do it. I was able to hit rhino side armor from head on and fire shots around corners where they were hiding transports from direct view. This is a huge boon on fortress maps as now you can hit rhinos hidden behind containers and buildings.
Um, this isn't a secret. Its been like that since they were put in. Though the UI isn't clear on the mechanics...
Well damn how has no one been talking about this. I mean it feels like a secret you guys hid from everyone. Anyway I basically figured out exactly how to do it. You have to be zoomed and not firing a shot. I was able to make one shot zig zag down the map by doing this.
Those who are not Eldar consider that Eldar have secrets that is why they think that guiding missles are secert that only Eldar know
Probably from how often I see them miss the mark by a mile. I only use the Shuricannon so I assumed from what I'd seen ingame that it was a dumb fire rocket and not a missile. BTW... no need to swear, its not the end of the world sunshine.
Oh noes somebody thinks I swore because I'm mad at someone else not reading. Swearing is a part of my vocabulary that only goes unused when I deem it inappropriate, which is rarely. Missing the mark could be attributed to not using the feature, or starswarm missles (Which should also have a guidance system, damn it all!), and sometimes the Starshot bounces off the target, which has only happened against Quad Guns so far. But ya. No secret, Starshot can be guided. Starswarm should too, but that may be nitpicking. It makes the Starshot a really good infantry sniper, though.
