I stick with gg but this is the first community I've encountered that can get triggered by that word and could automatically consider it an insult, as a Dota player I was confused.
I mean i'v heard this often before Fangz and to be candid, I just don't buy it. My experience with LSM has been a lot worse then the other factions and part of it is just the community they have created for themselves. I'm not saying that the newbies who happen to get caught in the cross fire deserve it, but it's definitely a macro scale problem for the entire faction. Hell, the LSM guilds barely like each other much less provide civil discourse with the other factions. When you have groups ordering you to teamkill or tacitly giving you an O.K to do so as long as you make it look like an accident, you've got problems.
This is very true. I've seen FF rise dramatically in the last 4-5 days or so across all races, BUT much more so when playing LSM. I think I've had at least two matches when I got shot by my team more than the enemy(mostly because the other races tend to use more melee than LSM, which I think it another reason LSM has issues).
Oh I agree. I totally agree. Like said many times before the LSM faction has a lot more kids, and I am not exempt from the TK trend either; our guild is very unforgiving, we just don't target specific guilds and usually make it clear when we are going to TK someone instead of that whole accident BS. But then again I still think this is different matter and a two way thing. LSM should definitely stop the toxic, but the other faction should also stop the win and taunt since the losing side would not see it as role playing but others being assholes.
LSM can definitely ask for rude responses sometimes. However, and not to excuse their behavior, when you go 5+ games in a row of just utter incompetence/knee deep in Rank 1's(god bless new players but they do not help get wins haha) it wears on you for sure. And then you get that one game where it's just a steamroll, absolute shitstomp steamroll, and people can sometimes take an innocent GG the wrong way. I know GG is a sportsman thing to do but if I ever win a stomp like that, I generally stay quiet until THEY say GG. Because lets be honest, you know they didn't have fun just now heh.
I'll need to control myself about that... It has become a reflex at the end of every game, regardless of win or lose, I just go "y">"ggwp">"Enter" And then I'm... "wait.... that was a stomp... why did I type that?" So yes. I'll also need to revise my EndGame Light RP quotes... Some might be needlessly offensive. Efforts need to be done on all sides, imo. Moderating other players would be hard. *Waving from atop the boxes* .. Still, I'm giving you all a big psychic hug!
Agreed with most everything until RP was brought up. Seriously? If you can't take being called a heretic as chaos or corpse lover as LSM or xenos filth as ork etc then you have tissue paper thin skin. How about this, know there are A holes on all factions despite the narrative on these forums, ignore them (I know, hard right) throw out you GG or RP comment and the end of the match and move on to the next match. Seriously...just wow
