If Banshees do in fact get that evasion-like ability to dodge bullets I'll be trolling shooty opponents regardless if i was told to or not And if me being the almighty bait is allowing others to make progress around the map I wouldn't mind doing it at all. Although I'm certainly not the type to wait for my superiors to fix mistakes if it goes on for too long and I'll make modifications to whatever seems necessary, both in games and in the workplace. I've annoyed more than 1 boss by taking the initiative to make something more efficient when they're in the wrong but won't admit it.
I've spent sometime in outfits/guilds like that, Fist of the Empire is one of the, so I can confirm you're right. When the shit hits the fan, and things get for for everyone, most will break and run, or simply stop trying. So some serious guilds will be necessary, but they don't need to be serious all the time, just when things get serious, or better yet, have some inter-guild or faction-wide teams ready to go. I don't know spit-balling here. Also, you can add 30ish to that number you said, I think it was 10, because I'm starting to think I lead a cult, and they do a lot of stupid things when I ask them
---Off Topic--- Oh yeah good point. Devs do have plans for auspex items to be a thing, pointed out in an old thread on that topic here. Of course if there are ways to improve things, such as with an auspex, there will be counters to it.
Normally I not the follow order kind of guy. Mostly I play single player games because I enjoy story more then gameplay. But for this game to be part of my favorite universe and make meaningful change is too good to miss. I gladly follow orders then, never was leader type anyways.
Being an ex military taking and giving orders is easy. I'm happy to follow orders until they become stupid and ineffective then as I did in my military career listen to the order nod my head then go off and do something else that does work
Working as an army and using squad tactics is going to be especially important as eldar, because each path is highly specialized, and unless you use each aspect as it is intended, and all of them together as a cohesive unit, then your probably gonna get stomped. (except in dow, then you banshee rush and win every time)
one way to look at it is like this ... in every match team of say 20 players half will be prepared to work together = 10 team-players in every group of 10 team-players half will agree/understand with the plan = 5 co-op players in every group of 5 co-op players half will stick to a plan for the length of the game = 2-3 tactical players in a game when you wont know most of the people, when they might not even speak the same language as you or have the same view of what they want from the game-play as you ... expecting more will only bring dissapointment
