How Will Character Work

  1. I like your take on class balance Bladerunner, its kind of the same as Multiplayer Space Marine, where you specialize in whatever class you choose.

  5. This game will probably play out more like planetside 2 rather than battlefield.

    Just wondering here cause if you can do this then how does the characters actualy differs from one and another. Don't get me wrong I don't want to complain but as this is a MMO shoul't the characters be somewhat unique and this for some reason sounds like you can be any class with your char (which is good) but should the chars still have a spicialization like for assault, devastators (sorry that I speak for marines, I can't remember the others so well). Not sure what got into me but for some reason I started to think about battlefield series and how people chance classes to suit the situation and everyone eventualy is looking the same in the end.

    And can you guys make me a special Grey Knight class? :D

    They said their inspiration is Planetside so you'll probably be able to play all classes from the moment you log in. But if you want to develop for example your assault marine specifically you'll have to play it and unlock various unique weapons and upgrades for it over time.

    Planetside2 had these classes;

    Infiltrators (light class based on subterfuge)
    Assault (normal soldier class with jumpjets)
    Support (normal soldier class (based on medic or engineer etc)
    Heavy (heavy class with heavier weapons and more survivability.)
    Super Heavy (Durable power armored suits with a cooldown timer and resource cost)

    You could play all of these and switch between classes (either when you died or if there was a class console nearby, usually in a base) but they were very barebones at first and you'd want to unlock more guns/tools/upgrades in order to be more effective as you ranked up in the game.

    [edit] Oh the dev already responded lol
