again, howling banshees. i said they were an exception for some reason. no idea why, but it just seems they have more variety.
Biel-Tan dire avenger. Good looking imo. But it could have less green and more white details. Anyhow, I would give my support to craftworld colored aspect warriors.
I wouldn't mind at all respecting the established color scheme of the aspects with Chapter differentiating being subtle e.g: Differently colored Helmet Crests, robes, Craftworld markings on armor and such.
Totally agree. By his/her colors we should be able to recognize the eldar's warrior aspect - possibly his/her shrine - as well as his/her craftworld membership (although less visible than the first trait).
The codex does have an alternative colour scheme present for each aspect, so it is canon. They are different colours for different shrines. The usual dire avenger colours are mentioned to be the "shrine of Silvered Blade" (white helmets, blue armour, yellow-black plumes). There is an alternative model (painted by a GW-artist) of "shrine of the Sable Helm" which has darker blue, black helm and yellow plumes. ^Games Workshop-made guy of the Sable Helm. Picture is in the codex itself! I suppose they gave up trying to force everyone to paint all aspect warriors the way they are supposed to be in the fluff, so now everyone has freedom of choice for creating their own shrine ^^ EDIT: While I think that is good, I still don't enjoy it whenever I see an eldar army (Tabletop, a video game, whatever) where all have matching colour scheme. It just isn't the rainbow that way! It should go: Craftworld colour (guardians, vehicles, rangers, farseers, warlocks and others), Dire Avenger colour, Howling Banshee colour, etc.
