And there are people who still thinking in making this game a PlanetSide 2, which would increase even more the ratio kill/death.
Oh yes, this is so important for Heavy Weapons right now, especially for Ork Deffguns. Right, and that's not a good thing in my opinion.
Just need to buff accuracy for all ranged weapons by 25% The amount of spread is ridiculous. Cant hit shit with a bolter/plasma pistol more than 20m away.
I don't do a lot of ranged combat, but it does it for my Dire Avenger's standard Shuriken Catapult, my Fire Dragon's Fusion Gun (less of an issue there since it's hard to miss a tank at close range), my Dark Reaper's Shuriken Cannon, my Warlock's heal beam and jinx beam, and I've heard it also happens with Apothecary heals from an LSM Apothecary main. I would actually not be surprised if it were a general input lag happening with all attacks and spells in the game and the only reason melee users never notice is because we have to wait for an animation anyways.
Well I can confirm that's the case for Ork weapons as well, but I think it's only intended for the Big Shoota and Deffgun?
Agreed in principle, but I think any slow that is light enough to give the melee a proper chance would be too light to have the desired effect. Which is why I think a stumble is better - it can be dodged out of, and doesn't continue to affect the target unless they get hit again. Even then, some sort of short term immunity would probably be in order.
zoom mode ... on tanks and sponsons is well, not worth using and the camera in a side sponson is appalling, all of the other comments about ranged weaps ring true .. but shift the balance one way and something will tip the other its a fine line with EC and a little too much and ranged might become useful again ....
1. When you did a successfull D-Bash as a Ranged Character, you had enough time to almost charge a strong attack with your knive. If your opponent didn't to the correct counter, you were hitting him. 2. Your combat knive right now breaks at the first or second hit. Back in the days it held a little longer. But if you tried to outclang a powerfist, the knive broke as soon as it does now with everything
I would actually say boost their accuracy, rather than lower their recoil. Right now the Shuriken Catapult has a low-accuracy low-recoil thing going on, and a high-accuracy high-recoil mainline gun to mirror that would be good, and making it the Shoota would be...daft. I mean, let's face it - it's already the best of the three 'infantry rifles' by a mile (which is depressing given as it's the Ork one) - making it the 'accurate one' would just increase the absurdity.
Absurb? It's a weapon designed for powerful, precise, controlled fire. What is absurd about the bolter being the precise one out of an Ork Shoota and an Eldar Shuriken Catapult, when it should be exactly that? It's accuracy on the move should be what suffers. Unless I'm misunderstanding your point?
